Some reviewers were a tad more harsh on TF when it first came out…believe the common complaint was difficulty and the bosses taking to long to kill? Should be interesting to see what most think now since the game has had a few years to marinate on people’s minds.
I’m probably not starting DKC until next weekend so it’ll be a little bit before I can give an opinion on it.
I turned DKC on while I was cleaning up my HT and played like 1/2 of the first level. Anyone know how different funky mode vs. classic mode is? Funky mode from the quick video I saw basically looked like easy mode. Is there more to it? Kinda dumb you can’t change once you start the game. I don’t plan on playing this game twice either.
Funky Kong mode basically is the same game but with Funky having all the abilities of all the other Kongs plus more health. The original game can be hard but not impossible especially with the right characters. If you want to just blow through the game Funky Kong mode but if you want a platformer challenge play the original.

Nintendo just released a lot of info for their online services. The big one being the paid online services will provide cloud saves
This is fricking dumb, if they can’t provide good match making and cross buy support work, I can care less about cloud saves. We can’t even transfer saves our selves with the SD card. Also stop having accounts tied to individual machines.
…Could of swore that we cleared up the whole accts being tied to systems thing awhile ago.

The news about cloud saves does not surprise me considering this is the same company that also thinks an ethernet port is an optional accessory. I am surprised that they bothered listing the Switch App, with its one supported game.
Sucks they are killing off the Virtual Console… also sucks what we would assume is its replacement is going to start off with 20 NES games like that is some big bonus. I mean seriously, I grew up with the NES myself, outside of a handful of them I am not trying to play most of that line up again.
Hopefully, the expand to the other consoles (and the handhelds) soon rather then their normal drip feed 6 months to a year approach they took with upgrading the selections of Virtual Console games.
