65 hours into Bayonetta 2 right now… STILL not tired of the greatness. I’ve been playing those Witch Trials constantly… at this point I keep doing 4 and 5 over and over again as those are where the challenge really gets serious. I also have soooo many clips of some of my finest moments I’ve saved at this point… y’now…that little feature of recording the last 30 seconds or whatever… whoever thought of that first was a brilliant person; I love it here as much as I did on the Xbox 1…though X1 gives you more options with the clips.
and now though-- weapons that suck—> that damn spiked gear/wheel thing you get from the robot-looking demons… that’s some extremely sorry SHIT, man…the start-up animation on it is so damn long, there’s never really a good and practical time to use it.
*there’s a love/hate relationship with that 1 enemy “Resentment”— it’s a cool enemy design, imo… and I enjoy how dangerous that one is, because it has an attack that can kill you immediately from fully maxed out health (*it shoots a beam attack out of its face which changes you into a child…then it actually eats you)…and another move that involves your very soul being sucked out of your body, also resulting in death unless you break away from that…but on the other hand, it also just seems downright cheap sometimes; haha I have conflicted feelings about that particular enemy. One thing is certain… those guys are serious business and must always be killed ASAP when they show up.
tried the kirby demo today and I gotta say it’s hella fun
checked some reviews and it has only 5 lvls and is 7 hours long?
ye prob gonna wait until a price drop
Kirby is fun but it’s just SUPER easy. Like there is no challenge in it. I played it for like 2.5 hours and had gotten every secret in every level on my first play through of the levels and I was already on level 3 and probably like 1/3 the way done with it, maybe more. I also hadn’t come close to dying and had like 48 lives. I sold it to @chadouken though so I’m not playing it again.
I’m doing a co-op run on Kirby with my nephew and yea, the game is super easy. The game bores me with how easy it is. If I brought the game for myself I would be heavily disappointed with it.
Yeah that’s why I sent it off without beating it. I only played it on flights to/from Savannah and had no desire to play it anymore. It did make time go by fast on the flights though, although towards the end of the flights I was pretty damn bored lol.
I myself enjoyed Star Allies. Yeah it was a little on the easy side (some times too easy) but it was still a very enjoyable game to me. It was something that I could just have fun with and not have to take seriously or pay much attention to. It was just a nice relaxing, fun, chill game. I got my $60 worth
Yeah he’s anti-funny though so all I heard was crickets. I’ve had DKC preordered for like a month now so I’m looking forward to it. If I don’t finish God of War by May 12th, then I won’t be playing DKC in docked mode and it’s first time being played will be on my flight.
I’m exciting for tropical freeze. It’s a game I didn’t give much a chance on the Wii U so I’m excited to give it another go. Plus Funky Kong seems like he’ll be fun to play (even though he is easy mode)
I’m more excited for Hyrule Warriors Definitife Edition though. Time to sink another 200+ hours into it.
I’ll be picking up Tropical Freeze again, too. Hopefully more of my friends get into Time Attack mode. I got pretty high on the global leader boards for a few levels but not a lot of people played it. I’m hoping we can set and break each other’s records.
Tropical Freeze was my second favorite game for Wii U. It is easily the best 2D platformer I had played this console generation. Level design, physics and momentum, music, graphics. It is a perfect game. Mario Maker probably takes the edge on overall best Wii U game because reasons, but if you liked DKC for SNES then you’ll feel right at home with TF.
A exploit has been discovered in the boot ram of the Switch’s Tegra processor that makes the console permanently hackable. Since it’s a hardware problem, Nintendo can’t patch it.
Guess Nintendo either may have to do an upgrade or they are going to have to fix the chipset. Depends on how serious a threat they are going to take this.
