Will give Doom a try on Gyro controls when I get up. I’m not a user of it on Splatoon but it’s nice to have options.

Got my copy of Bayo 1+2 in the mail today. Still pissed it arrived 4 days late though and never ordering anything from Walmart again.
Now I just have to wait until my micro sd card comes in the mail from amazon before I can download bayo 1

just got a switch! is a screen protector necessary?
i shoulda waited to play BOTW on switch instead of WiiU. only games i’m interested in rn is mario O and arms. such a sleek ass system. miss me w/ payin for online tho
Depends on what your needs are.
The Switch screen is plastic, so it not shatter like a iPhone’s screen.
The screen protector is to protect the large screen from scuffs and scratches.
That said, a $8 tempered glass screen protector from Amazon makes all the difference.
Go after brands that are known to make good screen protectors for phones.

Also don’t remember getting an alt version of Alraune? I’d fired up the Wii U to see if I already have this, but it gives me another reason to talk about The Queen. Can’t wait to get back into Tag Climax. THIS time I’m unlocking all the cards and the secret boss fight.

Breath of the Wild, Switch version, is $45 at Best Buy, $36 if you have GCU. So if you don’t have it (what’s wrong with you) or want to double dip from the Wii U version it’s there for now. Don’t know when the sale ends.
On the Wii U front: Just beat Forest Temple in Twilight Princess HD. I forgot that adventure games ( or maybe it’s just Zelda?) were heavy on the fetch quest for progress during this era. Digging it so far, though. Really liking the art style and tone so far and can’t wait to see more.
Im trying to lvl up Wulfric’s earth skill to lvl 2, but Im having trouble to find some Nobulis-Unkore ( German version of XC2 ) in Uraya.
I need to kill 4 of them and Ive already killed 2/4.
I forgot where Ive found those, can anyone link me to the area in Uraya where I can find them?

Surprised they are doing a Splatoon expansion but it does seem to be the closest thing Nintendo has to a game which could be converted to a game as a service.
sheeeeit, Rakshasa is straight up easy mode for the combos in Bayo 2, man… when I change over to that particular weapon it’s like she goes from already being quite overpowered to a truly unstoppable force.
Y’know, if they made 1000 more Bayonetta/Jeanne games it would be perfectly fine with me. Hopefully in the 3rd there is at least 1 more playable badass character… perhaps a Lumen Sage (playable in part 2 but only in that tag climax mode)?

Also I really enjoyed the direct. Lots of awesome games getting ported from the wii u to the switch. I’m hype for to 100% captain toad treasure tracker again. What they showed of the new donk city level looks cool af. day one for me.
hyrule warriors definitive edition getting a release date is nice too. This will be the 3rd time i’ve bought this game and I will likely sink an unthinkable amount of hours into it (for the third time). again, day one for me.
the new no more heroes looks so good. I want them to re-release the first two on the switch so i can play the whole trilogy on one system. that’d be super nice.
Mario Tennis Aces looks like a lot of fun. The story mode is what i’m most interested in. I doubt I’ll play online much. I’ve never been one for online gaming. As long as the story mode is good (which I’m sure it will be) I’ll be happy. also a day one for me.
Splatoon Octo Expansion looks awesome. I can’t wait to play it. I won’t buy it until I finish Splatoon 2’s main story though (Been playing online too much, I’m still on the second island)
Smash as the final reveal was cool. I actually like the fact they kept the trailer vague as fuck. We have no idea if its a 4.5/dx/definitive edition or a brand new smash altogether. Either way I’m excited for it.
eveyrthing else they showed was nice too but i have no real interest in. If I hadn’t picked up okami on sale from amazon for ps4 for $12 i would probably pick it up on the switch since it seems like the game was made for motion controls but oh well.
undertale coming to the switch is cool. it’ll be extra nice if fangamer does a physical edition just like they are with the ps4 version but i doubt nintendo would let a small company like fangamer do something like that. Undertale will likely be digital only.
crash bandicoot being on nintendo is a big deal. like huge, but i already own it on ps4 and i dont feel the need to double dip.

oh, and the darksouls amiibo is cool I guess? I don’t like dark souls but i love amiibo so i will get it. . Shame that its a gamestop exclusive though. 
i missed out on preordering it but i’ll just buy it off a scalper on release day, i’m not too concerned about msising out on it on launch day. I’ll eventually get it.
and even though this is the switch thread i gotta say im super excited that the 3ds is still getting support all the way through this year and 2019. Luigi’s Mansion Remake, Detective Pikachu and Bowsers Inside Story remake are all welcomed editions to my 3ds library. Hopefully we have even more gaes announced at e3.
maybe I’ll actually get around to playing Dark Souls this time. It is a game and franchise that I kept putting on the sidelines for years now. I actually have part 3 on… X1 I think… STILL never played it, despite how awesome it looks. Demons Souls was actually THE main reason I bought a PS3 all those years ago…and I was fascinated with that game’s design back then… yet I never finished it. There was always something else stealing my attention away. With a portable system…there’s almost always some time to play, since you can naturally have it with you every day if you want. (*even in a store; yes I have it with me. If there’s a long line at checkout = GAME TIME, bruh.)
*sheeeeit, back to Bayo 2-- currently, I usually like having her wear the police woman outfits…yes yes arrest me anytime anyplace, baby
