If you hit - and open the map, you can quick warp to towers, activated shrines, and the starting cave. You can open the map in combat, while falling to your death, while burning to death, right before you drown or fall off a cliff, etc.
Good to know. Just made it to another tower after trying to make my horse fall off a cliff. It was for dueling peaks or what have you. Got me a nifty tracker that led me to a shrine containing a climbing banana. Gonna peel that bad boy and climb these cliffs like donkey kong. Also after completing the the shrine I got hit with like no less than a dozen side quests XD

King Of The Monsters. Had a ton of fun with it in the arcades as a kid. Don’t remember it being this frustrating…also don’t remember the music being off-key like this. Weird. Anybody else have to replace their AC power supply yet? Got my Switch in September…power supplies used to last a lot longer. The fact that they burn out at all was why I take a dim view of Nintendo bringing them back instead of just a simple chraging cable like 3ds. I hate power supply bricks.

It really is surprising how much the little alterations switch things up for those that have been playing SMB for years. Placing Koopa Troopas on the bridge of 2-3 really tripped me up. The high score screen music should be familiar to anyone that’s played Super Mario Maker.
I picked up Cave Story+. Nicalis are my freaking heroes. Full color manuals and other goodies with their physical releases. Haven’t played Cave Story since 2010 so it’ll be good to revisit.

Chibi Robo coming back?
As a heads up, If you have a Wii U soon you won’t be able to add funds on the wii shop to purchase any of the games on it. If there are some games you would like to buy from there just to have you have a bit less than 2 months to do so I believe. Been thinking of stocking up on some of them myself.

‘The World Ends with You’ is actually good, just because the badge system and fighting was super interesting. Legit one of the better non-port mobile RPG’s. Only downside is god damn OP paralyze pin required you to blow or make noise in the microphone so to rofl stomp the game you had to look like a dumbass.

BRUH. Hyrule Warriors, folks…finally they made the magic happen.
Good thing I decided against the Fire Emblem game then. The characters of the Zelda world are more familiar to me.
*Crawl-- it’s kind of a downer when you find what is apparently the top tier shit… then it’s like why pick anything else if you really feel like winning or at least having the advantage? For the human character, it seems like the spear is one of the GOD-level weapons, man…incredible range since duh it’s a spear… but you get range AND superior speed. The combo tears monsters up all day. Of course the top-rank monsters are still the real deal though…and with enough shit on the screen at once, from slimes to wizards, witches and various large demons, the human can still eventually get overwhelmed. Yeah, this has been all I’ve been playing since it was released…the cool thing is there is a lot of monsters, deities and weapons/items to unlock.
*hmm… I am not sure what the level cap is on this, for the human character… last session I was up to level 13, but still got killed by the boss monster.
