Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the only major exclusive so far. A few good ports and multi platform titles, I am Setsuna, Disgaea 5 Complete, Romancing SaGa 2, Nights of Azure 2, Skyrim and maybe some indie eshop games I have forgotten.
I love Xenoblade game so to me it is a must have. If you never played the rest or don’t have them on other game systems you have options with more on the way.
IGN is saying at DS will be running at 30 FPS at 1080p compared to the other versions running 60 FPS at 4K. Despite that, I’ll probably get the switch version because DS on the go would be amazing and I already have it on PC. So many fun looking games were announced.
Man I’m still dealing with this mini direct. So many awesome announcements. Even though only 1 actual new game was announced (Mario tennis aces) the direct was still good.
Awesome games that deserved to be in the limelight again and deserved to be ported to the switch.
That Mini Direct was freaking bananas. I never bought all the DLC for Hyrule Warriors or Hyrule Warriors: Legends on the 3DS. I didn’t stop playing Hyrule Warriors because I got bored of it or anything. Other games came up and though I’d been meaning to go back to Hyrule Warriors, I never did. Now that the Definitive Edition is coming I can skip the Legends version and get back into this game.
I’ve been wanting to get into Dark Souls and with the Remastered version coming to the Switch, I can’t think of a better opportunity.
Seriously, the Switch is shaping up to be a dream machine.
So not Fun enough. But of course this is Nintendo, so you be waiting a while for that price drop.
Nintendo games tend to hold their prices as Nintendo will not drop the MSRP for the SKUs.
sheeeeit, with the way Nintendo does things… the price probably will not drop on that game until the next major console is already available for purchase, in however many **years **that is from now…haha, so Mario Tennis might go down to $45.99… when Switch 2 or “Super Switch” or whatever they call it is out
…so glad I managed to play the waiting game with Hyrule Warriors… now I can just get it on Switch, no “double-dipping” on that one.
I’d bet that on or around E3 is when they finally hit us with a Switch Mario Maker announcement.
*Crawl– I’m STILL unlocking more monsters in this game. There’s also the deities to pick that your character is aligned with, which grant some kind of bonus/passive (e.g.–monsters are stronger, stronger traps, or “enter with ___ weapon”, etc.)
You fellas that didn’t play Tropical Freeze and will be playing for the first time on the Switch are in for a treat. Not only is it a fantastic platformer, but the beats in that game are FIRE.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, a few weeks ago I was trying to break my Jump Rope record in Super Mario Odyssey, which was pretty low at mere 35. In no time at all I was over 70 and getting higher and thought, well, I should just keep going and before long, I was over 100 and got what I thought was gonna be one of the most frustrating Power Moons easily.
I’m buying tropical freeze again for the fact I didn’t give it a fair shake on the Wii U. I only played it for a few hours and dismissed it as being “okay at best” but I’ve been giving a lot of games/shows/movies/music second chances and more often than not I end up enjoying them the second time around. Maybe it’ll happen with Tropical Freeze.
I hope they bring Time Attack back with Tropical Freeze. I spent so much time perfecting speed runs through levels and enjoyed the fuck out of it. You really gain an appreciation for the incredible level design and the game’s physics when you’re flying through with pinpoint accuracy. You can watch other people’s runs, too, in the game! I think I got 6th in the world at one point on a level. Shit is mad fun.
And yeah, the music is incredible. I’m hype to play through it again.
The most frustrating moon to me by far is the fucking volleyball one. I gave up for the time being but it’s one of the few moons I actually have left so I have to get back to it soon.
The most I got is like 96 which was really frustrating. It just starts out so fucking slow and takes forever to get to the parts that are somewhat challenging, and then you have to keep it up for like 60 more hits.
