Shit. A few weeks back I did a little test thing and got $75 in amazon credit. Spent a little, and ended up using the last 35 on eshop credit, and was able to snag Mario Rabbids off eshop for only 5 out of pocket
Mario Rabbids is surprisingly deep and those challenge maps will really have you scratching your head at times.
Cut scenes, characters, and plot are solid and funny… Lots of nods to classic Mario tropes…
I still can’t believe Ubisoft made this game. It’s really good.
Ubisoft is kind of weird in that every once in a while they’ll release a cool passion project on the side. Including larger scale projects like the new Rayman games and smaller scale stuff like Child of Light and Valiant Hearts. Despite being a licensed game this was clearly one of those passion projects.
The only truly terrible shit Ubisoft releases is Assassin’s Creed and The Crew. The rest of the games in their stable ain’t bad at all if your into the type of games they make. The quality of Mario Rabbids is of no surprise to me.
Yeah I heard its pretty good. I prob wont touch it for a long time, but couldn’t pass up getting it for $5
But it definitely looks fun, I have some friends who bought it just because its such a wtf crossover and they ended up loving the hell out of it

sheeeeit, I’m overprotective of my Switch as if it were a newborn baby, man… over the holidays, I had it with me while visiting a friend and his wife, and of course one of the kids wanted to check it out. I let him, but I was on high alert and ready to jump in with Spiderman-caliber reflexes with the saving catch if he dropped it… the whole scenario of allowing someone else to hold this system…it’s too much on my nerves, man. It’s also why (at least 1 of the reasons) I ultimately decided against letting a certain other friend know that I even have it at all…heh, I’ve had this shit since day one back in March and he still doesn’t know…
…but that lie of omission soon comes to an end, sadly. He knows I am obsessed with the greatness that is Bayonetta, and I can’t resist that franchise at all.
*still considering getting the Switch version of Skylanders here… it has a level of customization that comes close to the legendary Modnation Racers, and it’s hard for me resist that temptation…just a shame that the Skylanders franchise is mostly aimed at a target demographic of what… age 5 to 12? :lol: Y’know, it’s a sad thing that this silly little game is one of the ONLY games with customization on that level of detail. So many other companies in the current era are doing such an unbelievably half-ass job that it makes you wonder why they’d even put in a character creator in the first place (*yeah fuck you, Destiny.) I could go on a rant for several pages on that issue… why are we seeing games produced in 2017 with customization that is far surpassed by WWF Warzone on the goddamn original Playstation? Jesus H. Christ, man.

Yep, world is your oyster at that point. Following the old man’s directions is your best bet but you can really do whatever you want at this point.
Use the glider to go elsewhere and dick around on he rest of the world.
If you see a centaur like creature within the soon after getting off the plateau, run or walk quietly the other way. Unless you are a boss at this game and already have a shit ton of hearts and powered up weapons.
Or you mastered the parry/z targeting system
Won’t matter with the tissue paper equipment. Gonna need the powered up equipment first.
Yeah have been messing around and dying. Old dude gave me a swag ass thermal shirt and I have been trying to use the runes to grab everything on the plateau. Went back to where the old man had me meet him and realized I had left a treasure chest with a nice bow in it. Been using runes to Fuck up enemies on some stealth shit too lol. Bombing the shit out of them.
Nude with 3 hearts, default stamina and no powers, tissue paper gear, you can beat the game.

You just have to face a gauntlet of all the bosses you skipped before facing a Full HP Gannon.
I accidently fell off the first area and didn’t know how to get back up so I said fuck and ran around until I found some horses. Almost got koed by one lol. Heading towards Impa or whatever.
