Interesting, I also understood the Nintendo dock requires 15 volts, which is much more than the USB C to HDMI/displayport adapters Samsung phones uses, besides the myDP protocols
Sounds like Nindy needs to get off their ass and fix their shit
Also I trust the SFans Dock and Switch con Docks over the Nyko docks any day.
I was going to but there is alot of controversy surrounding that title. Shady backerits and what not. So I passed and picked up Disgaea 5 when it was on sale instead
Just broke 5 orbs (out of 6) for over 3 million damage in Xenoblade 2. Filling up the burst gauge is a puzzle, but it feels damn good to do it. It’s also a good way to bypass spike damage, because chances are the enemy’s dead if you do that much damage to them.
I just finished the game. Watching the credits as we speak. I don’t know if I’m going to go after the super bosses and shit… Maybe I’ll dig back in when the DLC drops.
CRAWL-- highly recommended, folks, as I recently mentioned in the general gaming thread. I was just playing another session of this, and once again the monster/phantom side prevailed. It’s been kind of rare that I “regain humanity” in the first 2 match/sessions so far…but that’s actually quite alright with me since I prefer playing as the ghost and monsters… just in this 2nd day of playing, I’ve unlocked quite a few evolved monsters/forms already.
There’s also challenges specific to each monster (play as ____ monster, see how many rounds you can defeat the human; the human comes back with better gear each time from what I’ve seen), weapon, item, etc.
It seems like quite an uphill battle for the human player, because it’s just the 1 dude against the 3 ghosts who can do all kinds of things… including a boss battle where all 3 ghosts control different parts of the boss (*e.g.–a 3-headed dragon; each ghost can possess one of the heads.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXUcuxl05qc
In case anyone is interested in adventure games, Oxenfree is on sale for the Switch. Under $10 if memory serves me well.
Just about where I finished it as well, although my issue wasn’t leaving the game running, but grinding sessions and the occasional, not knowing where the fuck the area on the map they expect me to get to is or how to access it. Hell, I still have like three side quests open like that because I seriously can’t find where the fuck they want me to go in the area.
Also I figured out what was up with the level 80 monsters, it isn’t a sleep thing exactly, apparently under certain weather (misty/cloudy) conditions in that particular area, they just
spawn. So best if fast traveling to just go to the city and not random spots out in the wild to avoid teleporting from a different area and smack dab into a level 80 roach once you there. Unless you already are in that range where that is still just a goon. Still loving this game.
Finished XC2 yesterday. Fantastic game. I thought I saw a familiar name and face in the last chapter. Looked it up and was shocked by what I read.
Spoiler
Klaus in this game is the exact same Klaus from XC1. When I confirmed the Architect’s identity, a lot of stuff started making sense, like that bit about his other half being in a different dimension and about to die (because of Shulk). Been a while since I played XC1, so these revelations were a treat. I figured Malos having a Monado wasn’t a coincidence. Also, seems some people believe that Ontos, the 3rd Aegis, is Alvis.
Now I’m just doing all the sidequests. I see myself playing this game for over 300 hours like I did with a few other games.
