eh, it probably requires an internet connection like the other versions, I assume…? I was liking how that game looked until I found out that 1 aspect of it… a shame too; yep that instantly killed the (*download, actually; it’s free-to-play if I recall?) for me.
yep; just checked it on eshop—internet connection required
NP. I downloaded it. I didn’t get BMZ2 during Cyber Sales week but I know it’s a game I’m going to get eventually so I might as well get the DLC while it’s free.
I picked up some dumb freemium coloring book game which made their purchasable game Robonauts free.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Akane.
Even if all these games suck 10 free games is 10 free games. I’ve been wanting to grab One Strike for awhile anyways.
Edit: I just looked up Akane on the eshop. The art directions are so conflicting but it looks super cool. I have enough coins to get it for free. S I grabbed it.
I only picked it up cause it was like $1 so i just used gold coins. And what few comments i looked into seemed to say good thing. Not a big fan of the art either tbh lol
But yea, the coloring book is another free avenue to go with as well.
I loved the Master Sword Trials, so I say go for it. Powering up your sword is a plus. I beat the game before finishing them, and THAT was cool, since it gave me more to play. Never thought I would like a Zelda or an open world game as much as I did with this one.
Tried dl’ing Dauntless but not enough memory and I don’t feel like deleting anything right now. I’d prefer this type of game on the Switch as opposed to PS4/PC.
Passing on the Master Sword trials for now…lost so many hours getting to the first rest point, and then dying about two levels later to those damn lizards!!
Never played the bravely default games since they were on the 3DS, but I’m somewhat disappointed that’s how the character models will look like on the Switch.
It’s an aesthetic choice not set by graphical limitation. The two bravely games before them look the same way.
It’s a charming nod to the rpgs that came before them. I can get not liking the art direction though. It’s not a style for everyone.
I think a lot of the popular indie games that are heavily pixilated look like digitized vomit. I also think a lot of popular games that look “amazing” are ugly as fucking sin.
I should go back and play the first two No More Heroes games on the Wii. Got both of them years ago. Or maybe we could get some HD remasters on the Switch. That would be dope.
I feel like running through Breath of the Wild again. Can’t believe it has been two years since I played that game. I found my 256GB SD card that I lost when I moved so I have way more space for the updates and DLC. Re-downloading al my digital games is gonna suck though.
