I should go back and play the first two No More Heroes games on the Wii. Got both of them years ago. Or maybe we could get some HD remasters on the Switch. That would be dope.
I feel like running through Breath of the Wild again. Can’t believe it has been two years since I played that game. I found my 256GB SD card that I lost when I moved so I have way more space for the updates and DLC. Re-downloading al my digital games is gonna suck though.
This is what I’m hoping for. Maybe have a collectors edition of some sort that comes bundled with vouchers for them.
Or alternatively and arguably a better idea: let Limited Run Games do physical copies of NMH1&2.
If Japan get ports of them and we don’t however, I will import them.
Bravely Default II’s English website is up
https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/bravely-default-2-switch/
Japanese website is here:
Why is it Bravely Default 2 when there’s already Bravely Second? Am I missing something?
Who knows, still worlds better than Xbox Series X
Bravely Default’s Sequel is called Bravely Second: End Layer.
I’m not sure why they decided to market it as a straight sequel when Second: End Layer takes place only 2 1/2 years after the original.
Who knows?
I might finally pull the trigger on the switch now that I can run my Xmen Legends team in MUA3. Gambit/Cable/Jean/Nightcrawler. Absolutely wrecked in XML2, haven’t looked into the tiers in the new game yet.
I know not many people may care about the first post of this thread but I’m thinking about completely overhauling it.
Anything you’d think of that needs added? Changed? Revised? Or does it even fucking matter? Lol.
The only thing I actively try to keep up to date is videos for exclusives and extremely exciting multi-plat releases that’re also gracing the Switch with their presence.
Black Future '88 is absolutely as good as I expected… the music in particular really stands out in a good way and fits the action…and of course I love that “80s future sci-fi” aesthetic it has going on…that always gets my attention in anything.
Last day to do this before the 10 game give away starts btw.
Frogger is on the eSop via Arcade Archives. I don’t think I’ve ever played the original Frogger, only the PS remake. It always bugged me that Frogger couldn’t swim, dying when touching water instantly, which is odd since he’s you know, a freaking frog.
So there is a sale right now on eshop ending at 12/18. I wonder if this is the last xmas sale we’ll have or is there another coming up cause I couldn’t get Doom or Kyrim on BF and they are 50% again (same with MK11)
There’s always new years.
Same vibe with splatoon and the inklings/octolings
That reminds me: Inklings take damage from water in Smash, making any stage that has water another hazard for them to deal with.
hmm…for the first time, there’s actually a bit of a small drought here…there’s not much on the eshop at the moment that I want, surprisingly.
Black Future '88 – I’m getting to some good stuff at this point… in a run yesterday I fought 2 bosses. One very minor gripe about visuals though— the dash. I would’ve made it a bit more stylish… like more of a blur/trail effect there…like when Flash is running, y’know? The effect when you dash in this game doesn’t really “pop” visually, imo…
…on the other hand—the dash in Dead Cells though…now THAT is something sexy. There’s an item that gives you the Time Keeper’s dash attack, and it looks sooooo good; it’s hard to pass that item up, even though there’s other items that are more practical.
…my next mii character creation… I’m thinking… Spooky Dookie…basically a dude that’s a ghost of some shit; a fecal phantasm, if you will…that name just came to me out of the blue earlier…that is most likely too many letters though.
…yeah, just added some of my latest miis to the Smash roster-- Jewcan Sam [in the business suit; favorite color green, of course], Billy Mays, Crackbaby, Hugh Janus and more…shit like this is why it is impossible for me to ever be bored in life.
So I’ve been watching old Directs and I’m watching one from March 2016. Metroid: Federation Forces just came up in the Direct.
I remember this place and the internet in general going into a fucking meltdown about how much they hated everything about it and even more so at Nintendo having the balls to even call it a Metroid game.
Pretty sure the overwhelming hatred of Federation Force is why the ice caps are melting.
Ah, Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Yeah, I remember how heated peeps where when that game was revealed in 2015. It reminded me of the initial public reaction when Toon Link was first revealed. People lost their minds. But now? Mofos love Wind Waker and Toon Link is a fan favorite Link. Granted Federation Force wasn’t received the same way but I didn’t think the game was a betrayal to the franchise. I remember the petition to get the game canceled in favor of a “real Metroid game”. The iron of that was, while people were having a hissy fit, Samus Returns was in development.
