Cause it’s suppose to be. Not sure else how to say it to you.
PLUS honestly, playing that game on a d-pad would probably be kinda gay.
Anyone own Starfox?

Has anybody given the DK climbers game a shot?
HOLYSHIT ninja gaiden DS…oh i see what they did there
It looks so fucking awesome it could be the best handheld game ever if it’s half as crazy as that trailer and i love the stylus combat seems like it’l take some getting used to but then again it IS a ninja gaiden game. Anyways i heard this is a sequel to the one on xbox n ps3…so why is there a title called ninja gaiden2 coming out on 360 next year? shouldn’t it be called ninja gaiden3?
edit: Some random guy at work told me how to mod my ds but i forgot what the steps are exactly so what i understand so far is that i have to purchase an R4 from www.supercardnds.com and then download the games onto a micro sd card which i put into the r4 n then i’m good to go but how do i connect a micro sd memory card to the pc? and what site do i download the games from? any help would be appreciated.
edit2: yo mechzz that dk climbers game looks terrible.
edit3: DS is fucking owning this holiday season we got ninja gaiden, phantom hourglass, contra4, megaman zx2, and sonic rush2 to look forward to and don’t forget biowares sonic rpg next year
It’s a good turn for the series, but it won’t suffice defeating its’ N64 predecessor. Story-wise, it is nicely done for a Star Fox title and holds continuity with the rest of the McCloud sorties. Everyone in the series is accounted for here.
In story mode: the missions are done in phases like Strategy RPGs, where your team has to destroy a certain amount of enemies to equal the needed cores to complete the entire mission. The missions are played on various maps where your fighters are the invaders of the enemy base camps. A boss will usually show up after the map has been liberated. Hazards that would hinder progress would be fogs of war, but that could be cleared. The ships are moved with a path that is created by you through the use of the Stylus. After you’ve created your path(which is effected by the amount of gas you have inorder to complete the path), you and your enemies will move. If he crosses your path, he will go into chase to meet you. After this this done, you will go into an All Range Mode style fight with him and his bogey. I say “him” because you are usually assigned to defeat a certain enemy to sink the entire fleet from appearing as a party. If two or more pilots meet him in the path, you can select who should be the guy to take them on in. Whoever is not selected will be considered to be the “last defence” if the initiator fails to defeat them. Battle conditions here: If you run out of gas(time), you lose. If you run out of time, you lose. The losing ships will be replaced by those of your life.If all members in the path are defeated, the enemy advances a few spaces away. Victory conditions are basically this: kill all of the needed points, you win. If all your guys are defeated and you have no replacement ships, or the Base is defeated, you lose.
Battle wise: Almost every part of the game is reduced down to the infamous “All Range” mode that start off with an amount of time. This could be increased, mind you, but it gets tedious. There is a segment of “Corridor Mode” but it’s limited to a cat and mouse game, replace cat with a big honking something-or-other. I won’t spoil this for you. However, you have about 9 different endings, so the difficulty can change regardless of path.
Still you get to control almost everyone, on your team, in a phase. On the plus, each pilot sports their own ride, with various abilities(whether good or bad) that set them apart from every other ship. For instance, Panthor’s custom SW fighter has no bomb support, but a more powerful laser shot, yet Slippy’s ride has the ability to fly with about 3 bombs with a weaker dual laser, that’s damn quick. Sadly, the Arwing is the only plane that makes it to the versus battles.
SFC fighters are all controlled by the stylus. Movement, aerial manuevors and bomb drops, that is. You have your other buttons that just act like triggers for you guns. You can do virtually anything in 64, but lock your bombs a la laser style. Luckily, you have a map of your enemies in your control area, so dropping these little guys won’t be entirely blind. There is alot of interactivity with this setup.
Because of the format, the game loses the whole team formation aspect. i.e. You won’t see your team fighting off Star Wolf and his goons: It’s all you. By yourself. Against them and a clock. Time. Time is blah here. Not much of a fan of time in this game. Not much of it to do anything with. I had a beef with the AI in these mano a mano fights. They were obvious in AI patterns. Predictable. Besides that, it’s pretty fun online. Hence why I still have it. You’ll always find someone up to the challenge in a matter of seconds or minutes. So yeah, that’s about it, really.
Hope it helps.
What are some good japan only ds games? Other than Ouendan. i also have Front Mission.
Yeah I just beat the game two days ago. I wanted to try to dogfight online.
I personally think if there is another one, that the D-Pad should take on some duties. Left and Right for barrel rolling, up for boosting, and down for braking. It would make the game loads easier to play then.
And I miss the chase stages a lot from the original Star Fox and having back-up fighters on screen. Which could have had an easy remedy if when two of your fighters reach an attack point they both go in.
Dood, how is that so far? (can’t wait for the release)
jump ultimate stars easily 1 of the most fun games i’ve ever played.
edit: anyone mind answering my post at the top of the page?
Usually computers have a SD card slot that you can use but if you have a computer like mine, you’ll have to purchase this

Orochizoolander: The R4DS comes with a MicroSD Card Reader. You put the MicroSD card into the card reader, put the reader into your pc’s usb port, upload your games onto the microsd, then remove the reader, remove the microsd, and put the microsd into the R4.
I don’t think I can tell you where to obtain games because of the rules.
Its fuckin great! But my view might be skewed because Front Mission 1 is one of my all time favorite games.
^ hey…that’s alright. I’m feeling it too. I beat FM 1 and FM 3, dying to get FMO. Any multi-player options? and is there actually 3D FMVs?
thx and uhh pm/aim pls?

i have an r4. You can ask me too.
Has anybody actually bought the web browser?
Hey my DS has been eating dust for a few months or so during the summer but now school started I’m playing again (ironic huh?), what games are good lately that I should definitely check out? Last game I was into on my DS was uhh Phoenix Wright, and now want to go for something different. A list would be awesome, can be any game/region.
Thanks alot in advance. ^___^;;
