Nintendo also mentioned of course their big triple A stuff is still coming this year. You can say whatever you want about the lineup but I’m think I’m pretty satisfied with only a $5 jump in price. Though it raises 2 questions for me now…1 being what price are we going to expect for games on the NGP in comparison and then the other being will Square Enix have the testicular fortitude to put games on this system at a price higher than Nintendo’s standard again?

3 weeks before the 3DS comes out…umm…why would you do that?
My guess is they want to try to make some more money off the DSi?
If you’re wondering why they didn’t do the bundle with the 3DS, the reason is pretty simple; with the the 3DS they’d use 3DS games.
I’m aware that Pokemon doesn’t use 3D but that doesn’t stop people from using the 3DS to play Pokemon. I’m seeing this as a sort of moot point from a business standpoint. The only people I see buying it are the ones that either really want that special DSi or have a Lite or Fatty and don’t have a want to pick up a 3DS currently. This slightly splits focus for that month. I feel like the bundle is just bad timing that’s all and even if they were to make a 3DS bundle at around $275ish that was still coming out at the 3DS launch there’s no guarantee that Pokemaniacs are going to want to wait until the end of March. I mean they could push Pokemon back to match the 3DS launch but I wouldn’t dare expect them to do that…I certainly wouldn’t.

just because the 3ds is coming out doesn’t mean the dsi isn’t going to get any more games…i’m sure there will still be plenty of reasons to still buy the dsi. that’s who the bundle is designed for.
I picked it up today. I’ve only played an hour of it so far, but it’s been a great hour. The graphics and particularly the music do a good job of setting the mood of the world. The standout is probably the battle system. It plays around with a lot of ideas on party and enemy positioning and turn order.
I won’t talk about the story too much, most previews of the game already tell you the opening events. But it throws you into the action pretty quick and it does a good job explaining how the time travel works and it’s limits. Otherwise, lots a politics, countries at war, corruption, etc, etc.
Hmm will give R. Historia a play after I finish DQ6…

Games aren’t portable like the systems so how do you guys get around that problem? I doubt most people carry 24252384739203 game cases with them and the only way I see around it is to be content with only being able to play 1 game at a time when you’re out or pirate on R4.
