The Nintendo DS thread v.2

I’m actually kinda hype for the XL. The thought of playing something like Knights in the Nightmare on 2x the screen size has me intrigued. There’s so much stuff on the screen, it’s ridiculous.

DSi XL, huh? I may have to look into one of those. I don’t have large hands, but even the lite is rather small for me.

@Sonic
People just don’t appreciate their stuff anymore. The x amount of dollars paid for a video game is just an extended rental fee. Why? Because they know they can just go trade it in and pass off their negligence to somebody else because Gamestop/EB/whatever will buy back almost anything and try and pawn it off on the next poor guy.

Phantasy Star 0 is crack. I’m only about 5 hours into it but I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m a Cast (Robot for the uninformed). He looks like Prowl from Transformers ANIMATED so I named him as such. For the longest time I used the tonfa like weapons but right now I am using a spear cause it’s C attack is an AOE which ends up really helping.
The only nitpick I have really is the fact I can’t give my npc’s new equipment. But it’s not even that big of a deal. So I still love the game.

I’d totally recommend it.

Trailer for Rockman Zero Collection. Looks like the games will be straight ports, bottom screen will just show art at times. Still worth it for me since I never played the GBA ones. Out 4/22 for Japan, so hopefully we get a localization.

Son I am disappoint; I thought some of the classic Megaman games were coming state-side

Hey guys, where can i purchase an m3 real card? mine was broken.

Are there any better cards out there? Any help would be appreciated.

Spur of the moment thing. I rebought Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. When I first played through it when it first came out I hated it. But I’ve always had this gut feeling that it’s one of those games you know if you play through it again you know you’ll fall in love with it but you don’t want to replay it because of the bad impression it left on you in the first place.

So I picked up a sealed copy for 20 bucks on Ebay. And no, it wasn’t a hong kong import. I made sure of that. I know they love pirating their ds games.

Ya know it’d be awesome if SEGA release the Sonic 4 games for the futute NDS handhelds, granted they’ll have to descale the graphics, but I think it could work fine on it.

Fighting Dracula in Order of Ecclesia with Albus on Hard Mode, Level 1 cap.

…sweet god.

Picked up Spirit Tracks on thursday. Playing through it now since I beat Mass Effect 2 last night.

If it helps, I didn’t like Partners in Time and neither did anyone I know who own a DS. Hong Kong imports are hilarious though. A friend of mine ordered DQ5 and it ended up being a makeshift cart running the pirated version. He knew the minute he tried to get off the boat in the intro

Gonna have to shell out $$$ for a new DS soon, Miles Edgeworth is coming! Followed by Pkmn H.Gold/S.Silver in March. 2010 is killing my wallet monthly.

So still no release date for the dsi XL huh? I want to get a dsi and give my ds to my girl, but I’m not doing it until I can get the XL. My hands get cramped on the DS.

If you happen to have a Wii or are within the vicinity of someone with a Wii with the Nintendo Channel dled then you can play the Ace Attorney Investigations Demo.

Ready to take on the Eternal Tower on Normal. I’m gonna rape that so hard. In one go, though.

Spirit Tracks is slowly moving up my list for best zelda. It still has to top a lot of other zelda titles though. It’s about #5 or #6 though.

^ I thought it was really boring, you spend way to much time on the train playing a shitty rail shooter. I think PH was better because at least the boat lets you move around more.

They’re not gonna post that on their main site anymore?

I guess I can try it some point this week; Don’t need a Wii when you can access 3-4 Wii-owning friends within 10 minutes of walking distance.

^ I didn’t know they posted it on their main site but I’m just bringing it to ya’lls attention since I know there’s a few of you waiting on this game.
