3rd game - godlike
4th game - WTFISTHIS. Apollo Justice is not only ten times stupider than Phoenix when he was a rookie, he needs EVERYTHING handed to him, plot twists don’t make any sense until the very end, when you really just don’t care anymore, bitch bitch, etc.

I beat and love the first 2 but I cant find the 3rd anywhere
I take back what I said about Devil Survivor. I finally gave it a try, and this game is a lot of fun!
Pretty hard though. It took me a while to even pass the “Snowman”. That guy kept beating me.
With regard to the Ace Attorney series, I like to follow the idea that every “odd” numbered game is good, whereas the “even” number games are not as good.
Also, notice how the good games (1&3) are 5 cases long.
No real point in saying Phoenix didn’t need as much help as Apollo, as Phoenix literally had everyone helping him, Apollo didn’t even have triple Fey assist. Apollo is clearly more naive though.
I liked Matt Engarde’s last case in #2 though, and Klavier made Apollo Justice worth playing. His air guitar solo whenever he’s about to embarass you was hilarious.
Music is the best part about the series though, and the ever changing Objection and Pursuit themes in every game.
Speaking of Phoenix Wright. I went to a 3rd party video game store today on my way back from picking up Borderlands and SvR2010 at wal-mart and they had Justice for All along with Trials and Tribulations. Both were 10 bucks each so I figured why the hell not?
Then when I got home I ordered Ace Attorney and Apollo Justice. Because I’m not playing JFA or TaT till I play the first one.

I can’t remember Matt Engarde at all. Which either means that game #2 was completely forgettable, or I need to go back and play all the games over again. . .which I’ve been planning on doing for some time now.
I was pretty bummed out when I got to game #2 and found out that the objection/pursuit theme changed. Maybe it’s just me, but the 1st game’s objection/pursuit theme is SO FRIGGIN’ GOOD that the rest of the series can’t really compared, music-wise. Although hearing the same music for 4 games would get tiring, so I can understand why the developers would want to change it from game to game.
I liked the change of themes each game, 3 was my favourite, followed by 1.
and 2 was forgettable outside the Engarde case which I can’t spoil. Try to remember the rival actors Matt Engarde and Juan Cordida :bluu:
And Stu, Valaris was right, the Phoenix Wright Trilogy should be played in order :tup:
Apollo Justice will most likely not spoil anything, but you would miss out on 2 cameos, one of which appears in the T&T and plays a big role in Apollo Justice.
Running through ninja gaiden on head ninja difficulty the game is so repetitive but it’s still easily the best ds game and one of my all time favorites…now if only they made god of war ds:sweat:

Good choices. A lot of people say certain cases are better than other ones (though the final case in each game does tend to be awesome), and that the last game sucks compared to the Phoenix games, but I had a blast with the whole series. Have fun.
I paid a little over 50 dollars for all 4 games so it wasn’t that big of a blow to the wallet.

PS0 is coming. Would it be able to topple the current 3D co-op dungeon-crawlers on the system currently?
Yes that would be nice. Recently copped DS lite from here and the only thing I have so far is CT. Been a lot of good games that I don’t want to miss.

That’s all I have off the top of my head. I’m too lazy to categorize them, but I’m pretty sure that most of the people here will agree that the above list has lots of really, really good games in it. The bold ones are my personal favorites, especially The World Ends With You. Damn, that was a great RPG.
