You beat the time devourer but you still lose. Unable to beat it, Crono n co get warped back to your original times by Schalla who tells Magus there’s nothing he can do to save her. Magus ponders what he’s been working so hard for. He wanders the forest turning emo, which causes him to lose his memory
It’s probably a new ending. I hear somewhere that CT DS has them.

Did CTDS come out yet? What was the release date? I preordered but Gamestop didn’t call. Yes, despite it being Gamestop this particular one has always called me on preorders.

Toriyama is everywhere! Think I’ll hold off on Blue Dragon Plus,* Dragon Quest remakes*, and Dragon Ball Origins if I get Chrono Trigger. That’d be too many cross-eyed characters for my liking. Still, the Blue Dragon show itself is intriguing enough to warrant the purchase of the handheld sequel. It’s good to see Akira keep such a style for his new work.
Hm, I wonder if I can be bothered playing through CT again without thinking that Crono is Goku, Magus is Vegeta, Lucca is Bulma and Marle is ChiChi.
