Its still stylus. Thing is, it’ll be a viable game if they go to the button setup. Graphics are good, they added full entrances, more modes, create a superstar (limited on the attire) and the animations are well done.
But yeah, there are a enough damn buttons on the DS to make it standard controls, so whats the problem…?
I was greatly disappointed with the FF:CC for DS. Solo gameplay was pretty mediocre and the slowdown got unbearable at times. I was fucking hooked on CC for the gamecube; my friends and I beat that shit in 1 week and went through many packs of batteries for the GBAs. Hopefully the Wii version kicks ass.
By “attempting that next year” do you mean they are working on another FF:CC for the DS?
Yes. A DS/Wii hybrid FF:CC game capable of bridging both consoles together will make an appearance next year. It is called *Echoes of Time *and hopefully, Square Enix learns a thing or two about creating a well-formed, 3D, solo or multiplayer,dungeon-crawling experience when they put this game out. It is said that the games will be brought out on their respective consoles. It’s hard to say that FF:CC will be able to compete with the wi-fi goodness of Phantasy Star Zero(which will be coming next month in Japan), at the current time, but it is worth the forethought to think so. Those two will be competing in the same realm since they are in the same league.
I can’t wait for it to come out. This time I’m going to get all of the endings. Having it on the DS will be perfect for me since it’s the type of game that I’d love to pick up and play in short bursts.
Kind of an odd request, but could someone post a list of games that were released from June 2008 til recently?
Also, I’d like some puzzle game recommendations as well.
I’ve been planning on getting some of the games you guys recommended, but ATM I seem to only remember Lock’s Quest ^_^;;; What’s the name of that zombie bbq game again?
Oh yeah has anyone tried out Kimi no Yuusha yet? How is it?
i believe chrono trigger ds is released on 25th im pretty sure
as for me, i am enjoying very much my korg ds-10 synthesizer - not quite making anything that sounds good yet, but getting the hang of all the knobs and dials and pads and such
some of the stuff you find on the youtube are very impressive sounding
Call of Duty: World At War is good so far. Sadly, I hate the mini games already. Morse code? I really need to Morse Code?! They need to make this an optional thing. David Hayder was a good addition to the game voice wise.
A-Gamma: It’s all about Planet Puzzle League, *CrossworDS, Columns(if there is a DS version), *and *Picross *for that puzzle fix. I’d also throw in Puzzle Quest, but it looks like ass. PPL should be able to get you started and it keep you for a while.
I haven’t had any freezing issues with mine, though I haven’t played past Chrono waking up.
Apparently there’s some kinda achievement for deciphering all the morse code messages, but I doubt anyone will have the patience to sit down and figure it out. Otherwise the action is tight and the Wifi is solid. It isn’t as polished as MPH but still good none the less.
And check out Skate It, the graphics and gameplay are on point.
