GG Rangers. They were the better team tonight. The Hawks have a fresh group so I have no doubt once everyone settles in, they’ll be the master class once again.

Probably because the Rangers still have a terrible power play, and special teams can be a death sentence in this league. That’s how Gretzky got so good. Other teams would try to fight him, or play dirty, go to the box, and he’d just rip it up on the power play. He literally changed how playoff hockey is played, and a lot of teams are still trying to catch up.
Could use some better D too. Should trade us Nash and some draft picks and prospects for Phaneuf.

Depressing stat of the day. It took the Oil until Dec 30 last year to get 2 wins against the division.
The consensus in the city seems to be that the penguins wanted to build a team that is all offense. Flower is in for a long season, hopefully that doesn’t fuck with him because he is so emotional.
