yup, but that’s been the case for like 40 years or so, with a few sporadic shows of significance (the Sundin and Gilmour era). Kessel won’t move and every rumour is just a rumour, until after we draft. If Arizona goes for Hanifin (kinda likely, since he can play now, instead of stew in the farm system, and Arizona needs ‘right now’ players), we got our choice of Centre’s, and then Kessel has somebody to play with finally. Strome is interesting, but he’s only played against second line defence and offence, since any opposition he has faced has been geared towards stopping McDavid. Leafs will probably pickup Marner and trade Phaneuf and keep Kessel. Why would we trade somebody who’s been one of the top players in the league in points last few years, again???
