In NGBC-related news, I’m sort of liking Mai. I might end up using Mai/Hotaru instead of Akari/Hotaru, but I doubt it. Mai will probably stay on my secondary team with Shermie.

I think it is crazy that it is game over when one of your characters die!
The 20 second game over limit is stupid. I have to press a button 20 times to start over.
Also the order is strange, the game should just load no confirming this every time!

is this true? could anybody check if this happens on a backup disk and a modded ps2? this can happen some times on some games… more loading times, random crashes, skipping frames. etc.

PS3’s are there for Tekken tournies now, so if the scene runs Tekken as well you’re onto something.
The big issue is going to come when the next-gen fighters appear on 360 and PS3- which one gets used for tournies. I see a scenario where 360’s are used for online play, PS3’s for tournies, which will cause some issues.
Yeah I thought about that but since I’m the SNK Head if I’m bringing my PS3 and Modded XBOX360 I’m using MINE for whatever I want…

I was messing around in practice mode earlier with the team of Tung and Kyo to see how they work together. I practiced against Big and Ai. I was getting Tung down pretty good (I couldn’t believe how easy you can combo into muscleman), and I went to DA. Instead of hitting CH, I hit the PR button (I use R1 as CH and R2 and PR). Tung tossed the towel on his head and Ai proceeded to smack the everloving shit of of him with that bat. I dropped the controller and laughed my ass off. Made me feel sorry for the old man.
