Dude, I tried and tried to get Nakoruru to be useful, seriously.
I use a team of her and backup-Akari for casual play, because they really, really amuse me. Akari, though, is someone I hope to go big with.

Man, every game has those 1-3 characters who can “ruin” a game for someone. But on the same coin, those same people who had the game “ruined for them” didn’t take the time to learn the characters they were losing to or understand WHY they are losing to said characters.
Don’t get but hurt cause you get outplayed.
Learn your characters better, learn the game better, play more.
Yeah, there are those characters who’re blantantly busted like Big in NGBC or Sentinel in MvC2, whatever you game is.
But like I said, learn the character(s) you play better, learn more about the game, the people you face regularly, play more, understand the characters your OPPONENT plays and you’ll gradually get better and understand WHY people still play said broken game that got "ruined for them cause of said character

Yep. That’s why it’s so much cooler when you see them win. Now, those on the very bottom can actually be broken in a bad way, but B, C, and D(some) tiers are all viable if you put in the effort. Of course, take what I say with a grain of salt, because I suck.
Hey…just watched a vid…can Iori do anything about Mudman’s dive kick?
His DP can work if timed correctly from what I see but is there anything else…also can I punish with a GCF?

Umm… maybe Iori can use his DP? I think the reason as to why you don’t see alot of DPs is because the use of DP’s have diminished in favor AA normals which on hit can be comboed after.
EDIT: Beaten to it.
C version Maiden Masher super, maybe? I don’t play Iori, just thinking.
The one good option everyone has is to roll through his divekick and try to land a combo from the other side. Without meter, a good number of characters are essentially screwed, and just have to guess when he’ll throw.
