So I recently got to play the game and it’s cool, but feels kinda Guilty Gear XX-ish.

Meet up with ZEN at 7 p.m
Were present : ZEN, K.I, Shiro, Naori, Hige, Pochi, NAX (yes, NAX) and Toma. There was a TRF tournament held right before we arrived where HIGE beat K.I in final.
First impressions : damn they are VERY strong.
K.I beat me to death with Raoh before I could handle him. He had less luck trying Juda and Toki, got his Kenshiro to fight (awesome) and finally his Rei (beat me 15 times before losing to me). This guy NEVER misses combos.
Naori wasn’t that impressive although being a good Shin player. Shiro has a VERY strong Raoh considering he started playing the character recently. The Raoh vs Raoh mirror matches = 100% combos, wall streets, travelling % co. After getting beat many times, I managed to win several times against him.
NAX : totally rocks, far superior than POCHI. Since we do not know how to fight against Mamiya, we got owned many times, I managed to win 3 times though.
HIGE : The Thouther player. Although having a great & efficient attack, his defense isn’t as solid as other top players, but he is definitely strong.
Saturday 17, tournament at GAMERS VISION (watch out for the vid, we were filmed), there are crazy matches and a Pharaon VS K.I match where I lost because I missed a Fatal KO motion :(.
Were present : Mr 5, Mago, K.I, Toma, Ichi, & two unknown japanese players.
Mr 5 is superior to Naori on everything with Shin, Mago is a real killer, I’ve rarely won against him, he perfectly knows the matchups and how to punish.
Maho : gokutoken x 3 + RAISHINSHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (with the crowd backing up by shouting it) moment was just awesome. Most japanese players know how to dribble from everywhere which is frustrating.

HIGE is very dangerous when you let him attack, he beat me 5-2 upon 7 matches played, 1/2 against NDS, Ichi is a monster, I couldn’t imagine Kenshiro was that strong. I have also played against a skilled Heart player who did not enter the tournament, but was missing his sokusi at times, so I pulled off counter goshoha moves until death lol
Today, casuals at Shibuya Kinkan (Shiro’s HQ). We met QMZ who seemed to know about me lol and we fought against his Jagi and his Raoh. He has a very good Jagi, stronger than ZEN.

Raoh VS Raoh : 4-4
Next tournament on 11/23 at Game Newton.
We will go to Nakano TRF tomorrow and the first vids of the first day will be upped asap.

HNK France is not going to be updated during our trip since I do not have the required stuff handy. BUT I think there is a possibility to upload stuff.
Today at NAKANO TRF I fought against Pochi and an unknown Toki player. I beat Pochi rather easily after losing twice to him. When the Toki player came to play, K.I approaches us and says “be careful, that player is very strong” and he was damn right. Out of 10 matches I only won ONCE.
Hohoho, who is that Toki player? Too many unknown good players in Japan:) Once is better than none, amen. Keep working on those matche ups, Pharaon!
Damn, fucking Japan man. They have a gazillion guys playing the game and level up like nobody’s business…
The unknown Toki player is … Msin. :wgrin:
