I’d like to see you play Rei, hell you should do it in a tournament sometime. You know that even if you start to lose, you can just pick Raoh and end it.

Pharaon’s Raoh is simply much more entertaining than his Rei. For French Rei, Harold is awesome too. Too bad Harold isn’t going to DF2. That would represent France finest HNK players.

i tried those two moves (ken 623A and shin 214C) using as dummy both ken and shin.
damage is always 24 (so are they both less healty than average?), and with both moves blue life got reduced by 16.
but then i tried to see if the blue life gets reduced the same way also during a combo; but the answer is no. 
the problem is, it seems that damage reduction works differently depending on the ATTACKING character. after a similar 5 hit & same blue damage combo, ken’s 623A does a different basic damage than shin’s 214C, and of course also a different blue life damage. (note that i didn’t use boosts)
i adjusted the combos so that the blue life with the special moves’ added damage would be the same… but the blue life shaving was still different.
my conclusion is that i can’t judge anything comparing moves of two different characters 
so i tried ken’s 623A and 236C, and they indeed do always the same damage and the same blue life shaving, even after very long combos. i also tried both C+D and 236236A in long combos… and the blue life shaving was almost identical with the previous moves, with the super being slightly more damaging (probably due to the fact that the first hit of the super did more basic damage than the specials).
for me all this rant means just that the blue shaving property is exactly the same for all the star removing moves.
back to my previous request:
anyone learnt to do bounce combos with toki?
expecially, which are the most pratical ones VS raoh and VS toki himself?

Question -
Are the rounds normally set to 2/3 or 3/5? I’ve seen JP tourney vids where some have it 2/3 and others set it at 3/5 (presumably to make up for Fatal KOs).
Also, what is the time limit supposed to be set at, 77 or 99 seconds? I’ve seen JP tourney use both…
This makes very little sense to me, considering every other fighting game has a standard set of rules regarding life/time/rounds/etc… What makes HnK so different that there can’t be one set standard?
