I am getting a Japanese PS2 and plan on getting Hokuto No Ken very soon. They are re-releasing the anime as box sets soon, so hopefully I can get caught up with all the characters.

No, seriously, I love that comic and its glorious laser-printer quality. And honestly art quality aside, it was cheesy but it wasn’t too bad, just the right kind of intentionally-cheesy 80s action fare. Same goes for the anime, definitely in “so bad it’s good” territory. M.D. Geist for LIFE. I salute you, sir, for having excellent taste in silly Japanese cartoons.
On topic, I need to play that game again sometime. Used to flail around with Raoh but I don’t trust myself to consistently land sai loops. I should probably look into Yuda or Shin, they seem a bit more straightforward.

even when i would love to see it on XBLA and PSN and belive me i would LOVE IT!, its kinda impossible since the holder of the license and the one that has the final word on the game is SEGA
i remember that arcsys have ideas for the next installment/patch and how to prevent the problems that poped on the arcade version but sega told them to dont bother, and considering that sega isnt promoting the game anymore on SBO i dont know if we would see this awesome game on a re-release
