You are an OG playa!
Death looks cool imo
he was a skeleton centipede in HOD, so this isn’t too bad
Eric Lecarde looks like a douche kid though. Not cool at all.
I strongly dislike how Japan has this thing for young boys/girls wielding HUGE weapons.
Wow, that’s one awesome mom (don’t take that the wrong way ). Very nice collection! seems like you’re missing the case for castlevania adventure for the GB seeing as how you place each game with its respective box. Also, I see I’m not the only one who actually picked up that dracula club mix soundtrack lol.
OH SNAP is that tetris plus? Haven’t played that in ages. Major props to your mom if she completed all four stages at the puzzle quest mode.
wow those camera angles are a joke, better fix that ASAP konami.
DAMN!!! are those all of da castlevania games? da symphony of the night poster looks badass :lovin:
Marvel vs soul calibur?
Wow it looks awful. Glad the DS is still putting out 2d versions, so the franchise can stay alive.
The Netherealm let you play all those castlevania games? Kinda hell is that? nice collection
I don’t know, with the way the camera looks I’d imagine to be constantly fighting for the best perspective. Even most 3D games have a camera which resets close enough to a 2D plain. Being able to just run around into the distance or just hang about in the camera’s face is kind of off putting to me. It’s like they haven’t decided what the game is, is it a brawler? Is it a 3D fighting game? What is it? I don’t know.
I kind of want it to be a 3D fighting game. The secondary weapons would seem to have some interesting veriety and the Castlevania cast is awesome, so it’s something I would deffinately try. But with it being like a brawler, things are whiffing all over the place and it doesn’t seem to grab me the way it would if it was more limited in it’s movement. If I ever get a Wii, I might give it a try but I’m deffinately not going out of my way for it.
what this game needs… is some nice
Artwork for Shanoa, Golem and Carmilla showed up on the Japanese Website today. Death Note Carmilla is hottt, DAAAAAYUMN! :lovin:
http://www.konami.jp/gs/game/dracula_wii/
The Golem is pretty cool, like Frankenstien + Shinigami ha ha!
Obata’s Shanoa’s kind of wild, but he didn’t go too crazy with her compared to other characters. Interesting!
On the lower right there’s a few screen shots of the three new characters too. There’s 10 images in total so make sure you click the icon under the 9th pic to see the 10th one.
Thanks for pointing that out, I’ve been waiting to see how Carmilla would turn out
Well, the new NP reached my door today, and it actually had a bit to report on the game.
My transcription, as follows:
“It’s a scary proposition: taking a beloved series like Castlevania and dropping its familiar adventure formula in favor of one on one fighting. But that’s what Konami has done with Castlevania Judgment. Fortunately for series fans, the developers are giving players plenty of content to sink their fangs into. The depth starts with the character roster; in addition to previously revealed warriors…the game features Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, Grant DaNasty (all from CV-III), Eric Lecarde (from Bloodlines), werewolf Cornell (from CV: Legacy of Darkness) and a few villains, including time-manipulating newcomer Aeon. The game has plenty of modes, too; there are personalized story modes for each warrior, plus you can engage in traditional Arcade, Versus and Survival Modes, as a well as a Castle mode in which you proceed through Dracula’s abode, floor by floor, while dealing with certain restrictions. And if you’re not convinced that swinging a Wii remote is the best way to beat the Count, worry not; you can also play using the GameCube or Classic Controller.”
HALLELUJAH. Thank you for not forcing Wii-mote/Nunchuk on all of us!
And on the other hand, some of the other features don’t sound too shabby either. Standard fair, sure, but Survival/Event Challenges are always nice…
So, now I have a bit more hope in this game.
I have to admit, I can’t stop staring at the monstrosity that is Carmilla.
Wow … I am really not feeling these character designs.
What the fuck? Simon Belmont looking like he came out of a bondage dungeon? Eric Lacarde looks like he’s twelve and he’s wielding Yuna’s staff instead of a trident. Alucard made even girlier. Dracula has a worm body. I’ll say Carmilla is okay, just because she looks fucking hot, but whatever.
I’m all for making interesting designs, but goddamn, these are hot fucking garbage.
I think I like the camera angles. Just like in Zone of The Enders versus mode. Having your character in the foreground is an obvious advantage. But being in the background makes your actions more difficult to discern while the actions of the player in the foreground are crystal clear. As well as fighting for damage, there will be a positional battle to get to or out of the foreground.
Somebody please edit the thread title with this information.
Ok, now I’ma get it.
Lol, was I being a bit shallow there? That’s really what was going through my head, other than the part about getting it since I don’t have a Wii(I’ll just play it at Sonichuman’s place). I wasn’t excited at the idea of flicking the wiimote all day. I get the feeling that Nintendo didn’t take into account that people may play games for hours on end.
If you weren’t being sarcastic then, this post NEVER happened.
Hahaha. I would have never expected that!
lazy ass mofo lol.
They are starting to take things like that into account though…depends on the game.
