Wow you really are out of the loop. Of those, only Cowboy is āstapleā (though Utopia would get back on the list whenever Utopia the Lightning comes stateside). For Magicians, good Rank 4s and Rank 7s along with the ED cards you get in the structure. Castel, 101, Abyss Dweller (for this format), Gagaga Samurai, Dracossack, Big Eye. Things like those.

It wonāt be too tough. Just remember that Wisdomeye Magician is basically your best card and pick up Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon when you can.

You donāt need Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon at all unless you just want to build your collection.
Iām thinking that saber may become useful. Any more odd eyes cards Iād need?

@Saitsu All knowledgeable of Yugioh what are some sleeper decks and cards that I can play? Price limit for deck staples(archetype specific) should be 10 or less apiece. It can be a little over.
I have a monarch shell built but itās a bit aite against anything but cosmos which it can beat. But itās wack imo. And ygo cancer.
Also how do the scraps for Nekroz work together? I want to play it so bad because it was unaffordable in its prime.
Well I can honestly tell you it wonāt matter what sleeper deck you play by January. If you can live with that thereās some potential down the line. Monarchs are getting that nasty structure, and DDDs will follow. Harpies actually have a favorable format and is pretty cheap outside of Lightning Chidori which you donāt actually need all too much.
If you want something that can win right now that wonāt cost an arm and a leg, Iād say Harpies is the way to go.

Heās pretty much the only one Iāve seen put actual work into trying to reconstruct Nekroz after the nuke.

So, I ended up not buying the tin right then and there, had to pay my phone bill man. Sucks working partime.
Well itās not like you need it immediately.
So I noticed I have a severe lack of hand traps. No veilers, no maxx C etc. So I have a dilemma, I can either buy all 3 of my Luster Pens and Iāll be done buying shit until BOSH. Or I can buy like 1 luster pen and 3 maxx āCā and my 3 veilers. I assume that Luster Pen will get hit in the next ban list sooner or later, but the price of it may jump even higher soon. However I do know that veiler and maxx C are staples for just about any deck you can think of. I also need to grab some sideboard stuff like Imperial Iron Wall, Denko, and maybe some odd tech cards.
Also, do I really need 3 Apex Avians and Odd-eyes fusion to make the deck work? Saitsu I didnāt heed your warning way back in July and grabbed the avians when they were cheap T_T. Iām also going to trade my odd-eyes rebellion for another ignister.
The problem with trying to get rid of crap before a banlist now isā¦we have no earthly clue when Konami will actually decide to unveil it. If you want to get rid of Luster Pens youād have to do it basically right when BOSH drops but youād basically be committing to Konami hitting it and if they donāt youāre extremely screwed.
You are right though in that Veiler and Maxx C will see regular play. If youāre that worried about Luster then yeah, the Hand Traps are the better option.
And no you donāt need the Avians and you certainly donāt actually need Odd-Eyes Fusion. You can run different variants of the deck, and you can actually get out your Extra Deck Odd-Eyes thanks to Absolute Dragon (though itās admittedly trickyā¦but hey, OCG BA does it all the time with Beatrice).
Well in all honesty, is the risk worth it? Because I do want to actually build pepe, me and my friend are going in on a case of BOSH because of it. So I can grab my luster pens now, or vector pens but yeah, Iād be making a huge gamble, and even then Iād have to commit to actually selling my cards and trading them.
If you really want to build Pepe then I personally wouldnāt do it. And truth be told I doubt theyāll outright ban Luster so if they do hit it, you should be able to get rid of the extras at least. Iād actually be more worried about a random reprint somewhere.
