Also, consider that the people who made this banlist…can play in their own damn tourneys. I heard that you had ARG guys just happen to be hoarding up on Tellarknight cards a couple of weeks back. That can’t be a coincidence.
The judging at ARG events is already shady but this is just…on another level.
For me, in the beginning I respected what ARG was trying to do for the community with actual cash prizes and stuff but now I cant stand to watch any of their tournaments.
With ARG team members constantly topping over and over and over, its getting to a point where it seems rigged. The commentary is just ass and now with their terrible banlist and newgioh, its just terrible.
For a group of Yugioh savants and big names, I was expecting a WAAAAAYYYYY better banlist than this shit. The only thing I agree with is banning Lavalval Chain and bringing Stratos to 1.
There’s definitely a ton of bias to their own players, especially when it comes to judging. And now ARG bought a bunch of Tellarknight cards to sell, a couple of weeks before they release their own banlist where they hit everything BUT Tellars and even put Mistake to 1.
Not only are they further stacking the deck for their own players, they are deliberately influencing the secondary market by doing this to their own profit.
I can definitely see Konami taking an immediate issue with this now and it wouldn’t be TOO much of a stretch to think legal action could be pursued as this affects their business and their bottom line as well. I don’t think they’ll go that far but they’re playing an extremely dangerous game right now, of which people aren’t going crazy over because they banned Djinn and brought back Stratos.
Probably a good thing I never tried to play competitively especially right now I would be lost as fuck with most of these new cards, I feel old just typing that.
Other than that, no real surprises other than Dragoons at 2.
EDIT: Until I realized that it wasn’t Nekroz of Trishula that was limited (I thought that seemed odd, that would do nothing) but the SYNCHRO TRISHULA that’s Limited aka, off the banlist. That’s certainly interesting. Don’t know if it’ll make any impact but it’s something at least. Synchro vs Ritual, who shall win (the answer is Ritual smart asses).
I agree but I still prefer it to the ARG list because as i’ve said elsewhere, I’d rather have more decks competing at the top than just Qlis/Tellars/RBs. At least here we get Nekroz sans Djinn, BAs and Clownblade Shaddolls playing too.
Im not sure how strong Clownblade will be now without Chain but ill still build it just cause it looks fun as hell. I think hitting Satellars would either end up as a slap on the wrist or straight devastation. BAs needed a good hit too, Graff/Cir to 1.
But with Clownblade, Chicken Race, Kozmos, and Red Eyes coming out, I think Konami thinks these will push out the old tier 1 and make way for these new archetypes.
I was really hoping Heavy Storm or Solemn Judgment came back.
Well again, the main thing is Clownblade Shaddolls. That deck puts 8100 points of damage on the board stupid easy and grinds a lot better than normal Shaddolls. Clownblade/Performages are the best Light Engine Shaddolls have had since Moraltach was at 3 only with the upside of having a solid Earth that fits too.
OMG the day I decided to get on DN on my day off these noobs comes out in full force
1 dude says I couldn’t SS Halberd cause he has more than 1 monster on his side and says “a” monster only LOL
next says I couldn’t Synchro using his material cause I mind control him and he couldn’t be "tributed"
3rd is OMFG… he still insisted on summoning his monsters after I activated Summon Limit and then tries to Solemn Warning my Raigeki
