Glad I got a 360. This is the new era of fighting games. Clearly. Xbox has always pushed online capability and this the epitome of such. Sorry PS3 guys. :lol: I find it kinda strange that they did so much advertising for the PS3 version. Never saw 1 ad for the Xbox version. Advertising of the online play would have helped sales for sure. Guess they were looking to push sales harder on the PS3.
BTW when is this available in the US? All we need now is a downloadable update for VF5 Evo. Then I can die happy.
^You must look in odd places. SEGA easily doubled their advertising for the 360 version over the PS3.
PS3 version came out like what? 8 months earlier than the 360 version? That’s reason for a lot of what it’s lacking.
Anyway, this update is amazing. This is stuff we really should have had from the start given the day and age, along with it being version C. But better now than not ever, so I’m more than fine with it. (While I’m glad I can save replays online, online is ehhh, hit or miss. I’m mostly happy over the costume mixing, and for online, being able to see the other’s connection when they join you. Oh and the rematch option is dope too.
Update Is pretty cool.Especially the Quest mode help with fighting different people.As far as the free item is concerned I would’ve liked to have the prominence arm but oh well…

News about the 360 patch makes me happy! It also helps the community stay onboard longer thanks to the re-match button. But I will mess with customize mode first to see what can be done.
I do not regret buying VF5 for PS3 because it was released really early in the PS3’s so it was worth it for such an early release.
Even that I bought VF5 for 360, I do not intend in selling my PS3 version, I rather keep it. Even though I am sad that there never has been a patch for the Ps3 version.
So, I want to totally get online and play some VF5 with you guys after I wrap up this week’s busy-ness of life. I don’t have my Gold membership as of now, but I’ll probably borrow another gold account to play. I’ll let you guys know when I want to play, so I can finally learn how to play this game.
Does seem like this might be the last batch before VF5: Evo. At least the gameplay is fine and true to Version C. Definitely fine with this holding us over till then, no doubt.
Crap. I was trying to figure out how to get the 360 to display the game on a non HDTV and I tried moving the Xbox a bit to find the switch needed to convert the video. Problem is (other than me being a 360 nub) the Xbox was on while I was doing this and scratched my VF5 disc right up. Moving the 360 while the system is on = WILD’N OUT on my VF5!!!. Gonna see if my bro can get another disc with a refund cuz iz gonna be real stupid paying 60 bucks for another disc. Not trying to wait 2 weeks to send it to the manufacturer and getting a new copy either. This game is too good. Dammit Microsoft!! Can’t I move the 360 even a little bit while a game is playing without me wasting 60 bucks?!
On that note…is there any legal way to download Xbox 360 games on the hard drive? My bro was telling me there was but after searching on Google I’m assuming there isn’t. Most websites only talk about illegal disc burning. Discs suck. They’re too easy to scratch and mess up.
There is a way to do it but it involves switching out the DVD drive,saudering,and you can’t go on live after.I don’t know the specifics but yeah google it.
But yeah man,don’t move the 360 while a game is running.If you bring it to like a game crazy or something they may be able to take out the circle scratches
My GF did this thing one time when I bought Skate, I did the same thing and got a scratched disk. If you plan on getting another game, this is the way to go. She bought me another copy of the game, and then took the other one back to Target and said that it was scratched like someone had been playing with it or something. They gave her cash back, but she bought another game for me as a gift with that. But if you could only get store credit, you could still get another game or a controller or something like that.
