Otherwise it’s going to be TTT2 only. ONLY. And I don’t like all they’re doing with that game either, but it’s still Tekken. And that’ll likely be the game I end this fg shit on.

I am right there with you man one of the main things that keeps me here is I like all the people in the group and want it to grow cause it can be fun. But the too many games and all the other issues that brings plus the other stupid shit makes it hard sometimes. I had about given up on Tek I was enjoying VF so much more but I cannot wait for TTT2 to drop because I think that will be the game a lot of people end up playing. Its hype and the 2v2 team stuff will keep people interested. I swear more people need to play Kang too.

The fg market isn’t just oversaturated now, it’s flooded. Flooded to the point where tournaments will host 8+ games and have less than 10 entrants in each non-SF or non-MvC3 game. That’s just stupid.
I love how so many people who shat on KoF before are picking it up after the Evo finals. I mean that’s cool and all, but it makes me roll my eyes a bit cause echoing what Mike said, people can’t think for themselves. They can’t decide if a game is good, they have to let Mike Ross and James Chen decide for them. Many don’t care for playing the games at all and just want to make faces on twitch.tv, and give up at the first sign of a challenge. People talked shit to MWC because it didn’t have a stream, and on the TX tournament because “no one good is from Texas”. It’s as if they honestly believe that just cause a scene doesn’t have a weekly stream that there’s no one there, even though Jan and Ranmasama would beat 99% of the players that call them “nobodies”.

I cannot like or agree with this enough. The fact that more people havent jumped on KOF is crazy to me.
Actually I dunno why people don’t play KOF13 outside of a no scene for the game in their area. Watching a north carolina stream about 3 weeks ago I asked the commentators why they didn’t play KOF and they said it was too hard and execution heavy. He also said he would have to train hard to be good. If KOF13 is hard then fuck me senseless because older games were a lot harder than KOF13 like CvS2 and even GG. Marvel has just spoiled everyone to the point that any game without an ABCD simple combo is considered “hard.”
No offense but, Karou shat on KOF lol but he still plays it. He called it a “grasshopper” game(along with more Japan KOF players) because hyperhops are just to fucking good in this game. As for people thinking for themselves, that was basically called out by Sanford as well with Marvel. No one wants to beat ChrisG, they just want to lose to him and say “thats cheap” and he makes the game boring instead of stepping up their game and whatnot.
On the other note, just posting because it looks like I can’t make Huntsville tourney this Saturday and I know either you or Arson will win it most likely and I know you guys are itching to play me. I have no way to venue, thats the main reason I cant come but I’m not counting myself out completely just yet. Just gonna say whenever I play you guys, I will show no mercy if you leave Huntsville in a state of condition in which they give up in KOF(Although Sara is always willing to throw down). I will show no mercy.
See I never got this. Marvel has ABCD shit but some of it is also “hard”. Doing Morrigan’s fireball stuff with fly/unfly, Zero Sogenmu (sp?) loops etc. I guess cause for much of the cast the ABCD combos are so good it doesn’t matter. But blocking properly in that game is super hard. KOF execution is mostly easy especially if you bother to take advantage of the shortcut system that makes sense.
