Just a reminder that ATK is this weekend (Aug 4th) in Madison, AL. Our only tourney games are AE, Marvel, & KoF and we plan on running singles and doubles for all 3 games. I look forward to seeing some of you guys there.

Liz is awesome. I really want to play her, but everyone considers her pretty low. From what I’ve seen, she can keep out, mix up and all of that stuff pretty well… But seems like there’s plenty of players who don’t have a hard time teching her DP and also I see lots of comebacks and shutouts happen to her.
If Chie is near the top then I’m alright with her probably to start. She was my first choice anyway. I’m not very good at playing keep away.

If you want some good P4A stuff to watch, Jiyuna’s twitch.tv channel is great. He has tons of recorded streams of him commentating and breaking down videos of Japanese play and it’s helped me understand a lot about the game for the last few months. Brokentier is having him and DacidBro work on the begginner guides for the game too and there’s already some stuff up.

I was interested in getting a weekly casual night started at my home in Knoxville. Pretty new to the scene, but would love to contribute a place for people here to level up. I mainly play AE, KOF and Soul Calibur ,but would be open to playing really any titles except for SFxT (I guess if someone want to bring it, that’s fine.) I live in West Knox off of Middlebrooke Pike. My house ain’t like a mansion or anything ,but it’s clean, air conditioned, and has plenty of room for as many set ups as we can get going. If anyone is interested, message me ,and give some feedback on what time/day of the week would work for you. Hope to hear from all the Knox heads real soon!

Ok, I knew Gabriel got stupid-dumb overpowered as game progresses, but now I’m sitting here actually playing it for myself. Just made it to chapter V (long ass game) and I’m already possibly thinking Gabe > Kratos/Ryu Hayabusa/ DANTE??
Fools can call me crazy for that but idk. Why is dude so goddamned broken?!? I thought Hayabusa was cold, but Gabriel gives ZERO fucks. Why did they instill no fucks given syndrome in him while he’s still “good” and just a man? They must be trying to have the most OP Dracula in history.

You would have to talk to the guy that set up the barcade fight night. He originally did it on the same night as we do in Nashville and I was not sure if he was doing it each week, he moved to KNoxville and started that up but I have not heard anything else about it…Most of those guys talk on Facebook and the scene in KNoxville is pretty scattered…

i feel the exact same way except mines will continue past september and only get worse in the holiday season. i’ve pretty much given up on fg’s at this point due to time constraints, i’ll play weaker more around my level players but not good dedicated players because its too frustrating since i dont train or keep up with sessions anymore. i still wanna do the ff7 challenge tho lol
