The New TN Thread: Kings of Kang

I think most people just complain that they couldn’t understand the words that were coming out of his mouth sometimes.

I’m beary sorry for the lame pun…it was super late at night when I posted it.

They need to bring this out for XBLA & PSN. Even tho, I’m happy Rumble Fish 2 is making a comeback and hopefully console bound.

I am going for Youske and Mitsuru. Hoping for some killer netcode. BB had great netcode so I have hope that this will be just as well if not better.

Sadly, the current rumors are that the online feels like “underwater.” I’m not sure about that, considering it was confirmed that it’s the same netcode as BB, which was awesome.

How do people have there hands on this game and also who else has it? PLayign with the limited amount of people who have the game limits who and where you are playing of course it is going to feel underwater if you are on the East coast playing someone in Cali or Utah. Hell when KOF first came out the praises for its netcode were everywhere until the first week settled and it just sucked. I am thinking it is because those who have it are playing people everywhere since it is limited who has the game in the U.S.

P4 is already released in Japan and a player from there named Kubo is the one who said it lags. I hope they fix it before U.S. release. It’ll be much worse here considering we don’t have fiber optics and we aren’t a tiny island.

Japan 56K vs online play was really good.

I will just see for myself when it is released here.

Where is RF2 making a comeback? Last I heard, it had distribution issues for console release and because of the arcade hardware no one could make a playable rom of it.

But I loved the first RF. Me and Bishop were all on it. I actually imported a copy and then when my modded broke I sold it to Jason with other stuff. That PS2 intro was hype too.

“The Rumb-THE RUMBLE FISH.”

Most of the time we can’t understand the words that come out of your mouth but we still like you. Thats no excuse

10ms ping is lagging by Japanese standards. I doubt the netcode will be bad.

Dimps bought the right for the game and re-releasing it to arcades soon. Is there a console release far behind?

Imported this game ( the first game), it didnt work with magic swap and I sold it to a friend. Had to play it down his house. Man I was mad,but really can complain. Got to play it at least.

Yep you’re exactly right. It didn’t work with Magic Swap at all. You had to have a compressed copy of the game to swap it or use the memory card boot.

Ah ok, that’s what’s up. I’m actually more psyched to play RF2 more than most all these new fgs. And wanted to play it for a long time. Really liked RF’s system in that it’s got an old school 2D style fighter fe. Had the “SF4 graphics” before SF4. That Dimps shit.

So I have been doing some reading on the P4U netcode and something seems to be wrong with the 360 versus the PS3 version. Japan and other asian players said they returned their version of P4U for the PS3 version. They said the Xbox version chugs along and has underwater feel but the PS3 version has virtually no lag and is very strong. Also Atlus has made a statement that the problem on the Xbox is a bug that they are going to try and fix before North America release.

I sure hope so.

Lol XCocks.

3Shitsky.

Actually I am selling my Xbox and keeping my PS3. So I will actually be getting Persona 4 Arena on my PS3. Since I have a new PC that can play any game out I feel the need to own all the consoles rather pointless and since my PS3 is my PS2 and PS1, I would rather keep it than the xbox which is just an xbox 360. Feel free to add me on PSN my tag is Trippfan on there and maybe we can get some games on then.

Yep, everything I read indicated the PS3 netcode was fine and it was only the 360 version that was “underwater.”

But since it’s pre-release wrt USA, and it’s Japan’s infrastructure, very little about the netcode experience there is going to translate to how it plays in the US.
