Serious question though, how do you turn off the settings where game no longer looks and plays like shit? I think many other people are having this problem too because from the vids I’ve seen they’re still using “shit mode”. How do you turn this feature OFF? Is it under options or is it a dipswitch? Unlock code?

I was just getting my lower back worked on… In the middle of of the massage I accidently pulled a ‘Kuma’…
It was so loud the customers heard it in the other rooms on the second floor…
I bet theyll never want me there again…I sat in the car and died laughing for 10 mins…

Ok to do that, you’re going to want to hold down the Home/Guide button and select “Turn off console”.

I paid $59 for mine, no tax. Guess it was retailer specific. In either case, the dlc conversation in the thread is getting to be more important apparently than anything else. Someone page me when people stop being cheap pls.

There’s something to be said for creating good will with your fans, for sure. The key to being laid back about it, though, is to realize two things. One, that corporations exist to make money, and two, we are not actually entitled to anything. I know it feels like they owe you something when you’ve been a loyal fan for however many years, but in reality they owe you exactly what you paid them for. Plus, SFxT, as it is, is a more complete game that vanilla MvC3 was last year. Marvel put out 12 new characters the same year, but released them on a $40 disc.

I still don’t LIKE having to pay.

Great post chris on the tournament stuff. Once I have everything secured I will post all info. Me and jason pretty much have it covered on prizes and stuff, now i’m just waiting to hear back from panda to finalize streaming and then its off to get the venue on lock.

Doromac: Ahh really?? Nice. I think those two have some really good synergy. Basically because you can bring King in and do his hop kicks and bring Law back in to continue the combo. My only thing about King is that his CMD grabs are weird. He’s supposed to be a grappler but he plays more like a striker. I think he’s good as the 2nd character but I think he has problems playing on point. His normals are meh And you can keep him out kinda easy.

But I’m sorry, he probably plays just fine on point in the hands of skilled players. lol Probably going to learn Heiachi as well to go along with Law.

Yea, I feel you dude. I was having some of these sort of problems too. Playing King sort of reminds me more of Alex in 3S, but King has a lot more options in my opinion. Keeping Law on point seems to be key for me since he’s my best character. He builds tons of meter, and doing tag combos is a efficient strategy with him. It’s difficult getting in full screen with Law. King’s mobility is something I’ve gotten use to. Jaguar step is great for getting around things, anti-air counter is goglike, and the command grabs are more of mixup tools since they grab high or low. I hate the low one though The ex high one is a great punish since it has invincibility and you go forward quite a bit to grab the opponent. I’m actually trying to learn Heiachi too. The weirdest part about playing him is his slow walk speed and normals. He’s mega safe on everything, so once you start pressure, you have to keep it consistent and safe. Heiachi and Law are amazing at whiff punishing though. Getting in is super difficult though, for me at least.
