Me and Jio were playing sets and Xiaoyu just doesn’t have anything she can do when getting up. It’s messed up because you can get great damage but one knockdown can end the whole round because there’s no way to get consistent pressure away. This was a problem in SF4 too. Part of it is always player decisions but every character needs at least an option to get opponents off on wakeup.

Most characters have at least one good reversal but no one has an answer to rolentos jabs, NO ONE! He’s too bawse to get hit by a reversal when that stick comes out. Sorry man but you just have to deal with it lol. If it makes you feel any better I play rolento also

Jin can go into his d + kk stance to pass through the jabs and cr.mk. It’s completely strike invincible for 10 frames, and you can follow it up with Willow (mp or fp): 5 frames on startup, -3 on block (safe at that range). If it hits, you pop them for 100 damage and are back at advantage. If it counter hits, you get a 450 damage combo.
