Yo GGs to KoF training mode and chatting with Elder God Buford last night. Drilled combos and setup execution with Shen. Leveled that mang up. Worked on the HD activate hit confirm from his lows so he’ll become more of a threat. My Shen just got more dangerous.
But yo. Screw all the other chars I was talmbout for the time being. SCRATCH. IORI. This dudeis that nigga. My KoF resources will all be going towards learning this dude and working him into one of my teams. He’s so sick.
So thrilled that Eddie is on this Kang now. When this man gets a hang of the engine and starts applying his unique brand of Comfortable Tech, it’s gonna be a problem.
Gus’s or Jack Pirtle’s for chicken. Of course I have my own choices for BBQ, I’m a fan of the pulled pork sandwich at Tom’s BBQ on Getwell Rd. Also the BBQ Brisket at Memphis BBQ Co. on Goodman Rd in Southaven is good, also they have good catfish and turkey.
Breakfast you need to hit up Brother Juniper’s on Walker, right off the Highland strip near the U of M.
Dyer’s burgers are good greaseburgers, alternatively try Ubee’s, same deal. Huey’s is a good fallback choice if you don’t know what you want or if you want a consistent burger, plus Huey’s is all over the place.

Last weekend made me remember how much I love Tekken. I missed that shit. And the community is the best imo, comprised of “normal” cats. Real fucking homies of all backgrounds. But still socially functional. T6 has been fading and tourney wasn’t as hype so nobody was tripping off upsets and stuff. But all of my matches were after 9pm and both of my losses were last motherfucking round. Which means if I would’ve sat up in my chair and put fire to my ass, prob could’ve made Top 16 or better despite whoever was there. And the scene was there in full force, just playing other shit. Also, TTT2 was crack in it’s purest form. Jesus Christ. So in other words, I’m “retired” until this shit hits consoles. I will most likely dabble with VF5FS when it drops. But in the meantime, I’m just gonna be chilling and will fuck around in Kang from time to time only to be a punching bag to Marcus so he can stay keen and kill everything.
But I’m pretty much done with all this until TTT2. And it’s gonna be my only shit. Been wanting to only play one fg for awhile anyway. But I fell victim to the oversaturation a bit. And now these new games are making it easier to fallback. But yea, if I’m not Top 8 at every Tag major ill buy everyone a cookie. Mark my words.

Ok guys listen up! The date has been set for the upcoming memphis tourney MBB(memphis bawse battles) and it will be may the 26th so be sure to mark your calendars! Once the venue is on lock which should be whithin the next week or so I will post everything up in regards to the tournament. Expect for the main games to be there ae,umvc3,kof,sfxt and soul calibur. Since atlanta will be in attendance we may do something for tekken but that is still tbd. More info will be coming soon so stay tuned!
Also ggs last night. Team battles in sfxt is too fun! And on a random subject, I was taking a shit last night and decided to take my trusty psp to the toilet and play some genesis games and the thought came to me while playing but why hasnt there been a good shinobi game since shinobi 3? Like wtf sega! Man the fuck up! Shinobi 3 is epic! Took a dump for an hour and beat the game in the process lol
So where did all of the sfxt online hate come from? It’s not bad at all except for that crazy awful sound glitch. Also who the fuck came up with the games customize option? " do you want your character black, white, or black and white?"
@ Jose: Classic Shinobi were bawse. I still remember a bit of Shinobi III, though I never beat it. But if you’re sleeping on PS2 Shinobi, then you need to go and take another dump. Bring a tv and system with you. That was one of Sega’s masterpieces. Shit was too fucking epic, and to some, one of the hardest games ever.
My characters are black and white. Is Ogre shit? I’m using Sim and … someone. Not someone rushdowny, someone sorta Zoney but maybe not necessarily too zoney. I don’t even know.

I’ve been fucking with raven, his ninja star tiger kneed it a good zoning tool, remind me of the way people zone in mk9 or even kof. I figured out that cr.fierce dash cancel shit, did a few reps into his teleport kick, then saw that desk video and felt immediately inadequate.
Yeah, there should be AE. I’m planning on having an ST tourney, too, if I get my super gun built in time. Word of caution though: these events tend to be PS3 only.
