I think I’ve seen you before, you play Guile right? And yeah, I think any help would be beneficial for her. Especially if you have trouble with people underestimating you due to your sex, etc. I think she’s a little worried about that. But I told her it can be an advantage!
From what I saw on Wednesday Night Fights stream last night Ogre seems pretty good, but doesn’t do a lot of damage. His DP is ridiculously good. That DBZ burst looking thing… It hits crossups. Of course the damage issue may just be that no one really knows his good combos yet, so who knows.
Oh I know about that ps2 shinobi. I still have my copy and ya that shit was hard as balls! I remember years ago cursing out my kids over that shit, good times lol. First stage music was epic.
Word up! Good shit Jose. I’m there you already know it. Let me know if you need anything. I’m working on a bunch of promo shit for MWC so we can promote this one too, especially if it’s gonna seed players for Midwest.
Now then…
Dogg I was just tweeting about Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master (I have to say that game’s whole title because it’s far too god damn epic not to) when I was at Jason’s the other day. I had him dig it out and I played it on his 32x. All muscle memory came back immediately and I was doing shit I couldn’t even do back in the day. Got to Round 5 or 6 on one cntinue before I had to dip. That’s one of the best games ever imo. Gameplay, level design, MUSIC (Yuzo Koshiro of Streets of Rage fame did the OST), difficulty, everything. I’ve got Jason tracking down a copy for my collection, lol. Jose you need to come visit. You’ll shit when you see Jason’s game room. The Willy Wonka of game collecting this nigga is.
But yes, as Mike said, don’t sleep on PS2 Shinobi. Joe Musashi is the OG but Hotsuma goes hard in the paint. On the other hand, Mike, play Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master. Play it, god damn. You guys should make a deal to play one another’s Shinobi games, I’m dead fucking serious.
I don’t either bro, it’s cool.
word. Thanks man. At work so it’s hard to get time to look up that kind of info. I’ll get in touch with peeps about it soon.
Thanks Sara. I’ll let you know as soon as I know if I am coming or not.
After letting the the game settle a little bit. The net code seems better now than it did day one. Maybe it was all the people on day one or something but the game acted like shit but yesterday and today the game played amazing online.
-So I got SFxTek; I would like to know everyone’s thoughts cause right now I am not impressed at all
-The whole game just feels really choppy from the movements to the backgrounds
-Jesus H Christ is this game UGLY. Like all the neon/pastel colors everywhere makes it hard to see especially when gems are active. I can deal with the char models but the horrible color palette plus the choppiness makes it a pain to look at for more than five mins
Don’t get me wrong im gonna keep playing it for a bit before making a final decision but damn this ugly thing better not kill KOF in this town. That would be a shame.
Also I am off tomorrow though running errands in the morning. If anyone wants to game some during the day let me know.
Yo, I linked this on FB - Eddie actually shot it to me on twitter, but have you guys seen it? It’s an interview with Juicebox Abel from Final Round:

Now normally I don’t be keeping up with top players like this, but Eddie shot it over to me (not saying he does either) and said it was solid. I trust my dude so I watched. It’s a bit lengthy at 12 minutes, but it really is a great interview. I agree with him 100% on his stance on KoF. Lot of other good stuff in there too.
ya’ll have 14 hours to get Borderlands on steam for 75% off the hole franchise. So you can get the GOTY version with all DLC for $7.49!
Also Negro Brown, we gots to get a crew together and run this game!
Unrelated, but I hit Juicebox up on twitter to see if he was interested in coming to MWC. He said if it’s an Evo qualifier, he’ll most likely come. So that’s pretty cool. That may be whatever to a lot of people (myself included), but the bottom line is that top players coming to events helps publicity, so that’s a good thing for us.
Ah man, I havent played that game in awhile but I have the GOTY edition on PC. I sent you a steam friend request chris. I couldnt find you on there Rukus. There are way to many “Rukus” to know which one was you.
