losing ANY kind of meter in this game is crazy because you need it to do the real damage. Also, throw ranges in this game suck! Seriously, you have to be like right up on your opponent to snatch them. Command grabs are a different story though.

IF it is in fact true that this is PAID DLC, then yes I agree that it is essentially useless. However, again this can be seen as either another way for Capcom to milk more money from the franchise, or to “help new players” who have issues with basic execution.

On an more positive note, Capcom did a great job on a lot of character voices. Marduk sounds better in English, and so does Steve. Never thought I’d say a US voice was better than a JP edition.

You guys are making wayyyy too big of a deal out of this Quick Combo thing.
You don’t KNOW that it’s going to be paid DLC
Secondly, who cares? None of us are going to use it anyway(it’s even worse than beginner mode in BlazBlue), no one you ever play with is going to use it so it doesn’t effect you. Even if you do, it costs meter to use and they have to HIT YOU WITH IT first! Quick Combos have to abide by all the natural rules of the game. You can’t ABC > Quick Combo and you can’t do a non special cancellable move into a Quick Combo. It’s not a big deal. LET them waste meter.
Seriously this, I remember somebody shitting their pants in anger when they first announced it. This is like getting mad at MvC3’s simple mode.
Manage lifebar, get good with link combos to chains…the game isn’t hard to play so not much to really to “learn” spacing wise sans how you play against Tekken characters with lows/overheads from combos, etc, your footsies are all there…we’re all just learning right now anyway but think of this…grapplers have a harder time getting in and you can see how long that will take in terms of time in the game…lifebar is so important right now. Many ways to tag in safe, any juggle move will do that…you have a good base set up right now of footsies, just watch your life meter…I definitely don’t mind losing life on tag-ins to save a character if I don’t use tag from a combo/block string…

I feel you man, an I respect this. Hey I’m not trying to hate, or maybe I am, I dunno. The mind boggling part of this isn’t so much from a gameplay perspective. It’s the concept that you’d add an easy control scheme, THEN CHARGE PEOPLE TO USE IT. If the absurdity of that is lost on you (the general “you” not you Milln. You rule), then I don’t know what else to say.

Honestly… I don’t understand the point of wanting to dumb down the game to make it more accessible… People who use it aren’t going to play very long because they’re still gonna get their asses kicked. it’s just a useless add on. Especially if they make it paid DLC. Then it’s just insulting.
