What rules are put in place against certain stuff since this is one of the only tourneys to my knowledge that’s running 360 after hearing about patch issue. Also, you know if it was PS3 with the hard-drive issue then it’d be a massive uproar and no PS3 set-ups would be allowed in the arcade for the next 7 years and this thread would be flooded with 10 pages of why PS3 is inferior and it’s hard-drive has yadda yadda yadda processors yadda yadda response time yadda yadda me no able plink on psn lost fighters edge points.
And people say that so long as your ps3 has a net connection then it still updates and patches games, just not able to log in to PSN/ PS Store, etc.

If it’s going to be on 360, deal with it. If it’s going to be on PS3, deal with it. If you can’t deal with it, just don’t attend.

It just reminded me of some facebook messages/comments on our Chattanooga tournament 2 weeks from now.
My problem is PS3 version of MK is a port of the 360 version. It has some other stuff wrong with it but I’m not too sure on precisely what they are.

I agree with Kazujiro, if you know what the tourneys are going to be on, just deal with it or don’t go.
Personally I won’t run anything except specific games (Arcana Heart 3, Tekken 6, etc) that make SENSE on PS3 but nothing else does. It’s inferior, it’s proven to be inferior, but since EVO is running it, lots of tourneys think that is the way to go…that’s MY issue with the PS3 thing. It will always be Tekken yes, other games you have to be kidding me, LOL
mk tournament is going to be on a cabinet with a wii in it, you can only use pdp sticks, the screen is black and white, and it will be a demo version. $100 guaranteed.

Negro Justice: Rules are basically going to be like we did with MVC2 in the beginning:
No infinites. No Cyrax, Ermac, Sonya, Quan-Chi (Yes he has something really dumb) Sindel stuff. If you do something found that has been KNOWN and discovered to be “broken” then you will be DQ’ed, so basically, don’t do any repetitive stuff that you know can’t br broken or has more reps than you know of for the character falling.
Besides that, no parry glitch.
