After the fun we had hosting the last tournament this March, internalburn and I are excited to announce another Chattanooga Tournament to be held: May 14, 2011!

Registration starts at 10:00 AM, Tournaments start at 12:00 PM.

Venue entry fee: $10
Spectator fee: $5

Game entry: $10/each

Venue fee will be 100% refunded if you bring a FULL setup (TV, Console, Game AND Cables)
If you bring only a system/game/cable OR a TV venue will be 50% refunded.

Venue fee all (or in part) to be refunded AFTER the tournament for which the setup was brought has CONCLUDED (or is no longer needed). If you leave before the end of the tournament you will not receive the venue fee back. Sorry to do this, but we want to prevent setups being unavailable because equipment donors would/could not stay for the duration.

Rules (All games)
- This is a BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller/Stick) tournament.
- NO turbo or macro functions will be allowed. If you are found using them during a tournament match you will be disqualified. NO exceptions.
- Random Stage/Theme Select for all matches.
- If a game has fewer than 8 participants, there will be a round robin rather than double elimination bracket.
- Payouts for each game are: 60/25/15

There has been a security breach of Sony’s security for the PlayStation Network, resulting in a compromise of information. This may include:
Your name
Your address (city, state, and zip)
Country
E-mail address
Birthday
PSN password and login name
Your credit card information (potentially)

Summary:
1: PSN Servers were hacked between April 17th and April 19th.

2: Some or all of PSN users have had their information compromised. This includes username, birthdate, real name, address information, and more than likely, but not yet confirmed, credit card information aside from CV security codes.

3: Any passwords you share with your PSN account should be changed. If you share the same password for your PSN registered email account with the actual email account, change your email password immediately. Also change security questions and answers. This should include all social networking sites.

4: As a precaution, you may want to cancel your credit card/bank card and order a new one.

4.5: If you are not going to cancel your card, review your bank statement or credit card statement for the next 2 years very closely or until the card expires and you are issued a new card with a new expiration date.

5: If you do not remember which credit card / bank card you used, go into your email account and review any purchases which added funds to your wallet on PSN. On that email you will notice the first 4, and last 4, digits of the credit card / bank card number you used.

6: If you play MMORPG’s and used the same password as your PSN password to log in, regardless if your username is the same as your account login name for that MMORPG, change the appropriate password in said MMORPG and change security questions.

You may want to change the passwords of any accounts with the same log-in name (including ones here), as well as look into taking care of your card. The leak of credit card information has at this time not been confirmed but Sony admits there is a possibility.

You can find some good reads about it basically everywhere on the internet, though here’s a more recent summary of what you can and should do, and what Sony’s stance on the matter is.
