Smoke/Raiden/Tsung/Kung Lao/Johnny Cage/Ermac/Kabal/Kano/Nightwolf
AE is a 12-15 character game.
Fei/Yun/Yang/Ken/Viper/Gief/Makoto/Akuma/Adon/Boxer/Sagat/Rufus/Dictator/Chun/Abel
MvC3 is a X-Factor/DHC glitch/D. Phoenix game. Characters that can do two or all 3 are viable.
The major difference I’ve noticed in regards to all three is
in MK it’s very very very hard for the low tier to compete vs the top tier. It becomes easier in mvc, and easiest in AE.

On a side note anyone who has a problem with me/Raiden should fully blame Jason.
I came to the first tourney with Ermac ready to beast.
Jason showed me one basic Raiden combo and some specials.
Haven’t played Ermac since before the tourney.
I also think Tsung is the best character in the game.
You just have to know every character to play him to his full potential.
To me, while the tiers do have an effect on my overall enjoyment of all three games, I think my greatest hurdle in MvC is understanding why I got hit. It seems almost arbitrary in certain situations. Also, I’ve attempted to punish the exact same setup in the same way and gotten 2 different results.
In SF and MK, I always know why i got combo’d, thrown, OH’d, frame trapped etc. In Marvel, shit just happens and “it’s Marvel”.

lol I don’t even know what I’m doing in that dumb game, but I know slapping xfactor on sentinel gets me wins. You couldn’t fucking PAY me ti play that game seriously, but if you want to put a few beers in me and then play me, I’ll play…until I get bored and put in MK, which usually happens lol.

I have to agree with everyone on this Marvel Bullshit. It is a shitty game no lie. Everytime I play it with other people, I find more stupid stuff! Amen to the fact that you do the same exact setup twice and get different results! and LOL at wolverine in that game! Are you fucking kidding me!
marvel is a beacon of fair, balanced, competitive play in which the better player always wins. every character is viable, and dark phoenix is not broken. i’m gay.
