It was decent. More of an origin movie (think Iron Man 1). And the more you get into the film, the guy they casted kinda grows on you. Still would’ve preferred Triple H if they got him a voice coach.
And we saw it in 3D, which wasn’t really 3D. I think the current 3D movies are ripoffs and haven’t saw one yet that seems to take advantage of it. Felt like just a regular movie watched through a pair of uncomfortable glasses which sometimes fog up. Maybe that Priest flick will be better. The previews look true 3D and I thought something really hit me.
Anyway, Thor was cool. Mixed reviews if you already liked the character. You could be a fanboy and think it’s awesome just because, or a purist and nitpick stuff BUT, there wasn’t too much here to nitpick. Marvel movies have become increasingly better and faithful since the X-Men films. And I can see Thor being my fave Avenger in the upcoming movie. Dude’s a likable guy. I just wanna see him smash more heads and maybe command grab someone.
