Have you guys checked out challonge.com? It actually looks like a decent way to set up a tournament… You can even set up an online registration site and actually have a live updating bracket embedded in the forums here apparently.
Edit: After looking around the site it actually seems pretty bad-ass. You can set up single elim, double elim, and even round robin, theres also a page to look at all the tournaments organized so far and I see quite a few marvel ssfiv and even super turbo tourneys set up.
I know you can change the seed but i assume doing it by region will still have to be done individually
Yeah, I figured it would be appreciated. It seemed setups and sticks were lacking last week, especially on PS3.
I have a 360 as well, but I don’t have super for it. Also, bringing two setups would be a little bit much for me.
I wouldn’t bother explaining a thing to anyone. If they think you cheated the bracket and set the odds up in your favor then I guess you did.

Astaroth: Doubtful on streaming. Team Spooky was planning on coming until EC tourney changed their date (which everyone including them is pissed about) and Shawn will have moved by then as well as us having shitty internet, LOL…
So unless the ST guys are bringing streaming equipment it’s going to be a no unfortunately.

I dont think that Duckie is incapable of placing top 3. I just find it a little fishy that he didn’t have to play ANY of the people that would’ve swatted that Phoenix out of the tournament until winner’s finals. I lost my 1st match but Im sure Sev and Jas were in the winner’s bracket for a while. Not to mention Raekwon and Mike. He should’ve ran into at least 1 of them before making it to winner’s finals.
I only have ever had interest in trying to keep things fair and reasonable. It seemed like Duckie wasn’t being given the appropriate opportunity to defend himself is all. Of course I can’t tell you what happened. Someone could tell me to stay out of it but I never really planned on diving balls deep into it. I just wanted to make a quick reply to that one dude’s post is all.

alot of the things on a forum can be misinterpreted easily. Thats why I posted that I didnt think he was actually cheating, per say. And again, many factors came into play that day, but to each his own… Whatever happened…happened! Can’t be changed, nor can anything be done about it, but future events can prevent things like this!
