Remember that slew of rumors from the GAF insider one page back? Well, the voice actor of Master Chief may have just confirmed that Halo 2 Anniversary will drop this year, & Halo 5 in 2015.

It’s rolling out now, most will have it between now and the weekend.
Edit: reports on sites say that the update definitely tweaked the upscaler (as requested by Respawn). DR3 and Killer Instinct look better among others.

Word is that they’ve removed the sharpening filter for sub-1080p games.
Not the best comparison since it uses none of the same characters, you can see the lifebars, KI logo & training stage grid are all much softer.
WOW. People discovering that they only had 100 GB or less left in their storage. This thing came at the right time.
And it’s mostly the games with the auto DVR feature piling up unnecessary game clips.

Definitely buying Titanfall the day it comes out. My bday is March 29th and I think it’s coming out around that time so it’ll be a cool bday present. Really tired of FPS’s, but this looks like the one to get me back into them. Plus Fulgore coming out in March so lots of robots and machinery for me to mess with next month.

Hoping whatever new devs for Killer Instinct patch up some more brightness/contrast tweaks to deal with the crushed blacks.
I’m not enough of a graphicphile to notice the crushed blacks. All I know is they put in a patch already for the Xbox and now KI is bright as fuck. I turn my asus monitor to the lowest pre setting and it’s still bright as hell. Game mode on PS3 or Xbox looks normal, but game mode on Xbox One is blinding bright.

It should. X1 beta is only 792p with lower res textures than usual.
By this point they should be testing a beta that’s closer to the final product, but they’re doing that internally.
The game is crack though. Can’t lie, haven’t had this much fun with an fps probably ever.
Got bored with Titanfall after about 10 or so matches. This game got way overhyped by the media and its suppose to be the system seller? The PC version looks and runs much better and even then the graphics arent that amazing. Its optimized real well ill give it that. How many maps are there suppose to be with the full release? only 3 classes and 3 titans? It just seems to lack content for a $60 MP only game. The game has that initial fun factor but it just wears off after awhile. My biggest gripe is those stupid bots/‘grunts’ that shit needs to go.
You got bored after 10 matches??? Im really enjoying Titanfall, just confirmed myself to pickup the special edition still not sure which to get X1 or PC. Man the game is fun & not too frustrating for casual FPS. My only complaint would make the matches a little longer.
I saw a video of the game a while back, saw how similar it looked to COD right down to the animations, and that killed what little hype I had for the game.

You’re not that far off. I’m not saying is a bad game i could see why people would enjoy this. The game controls well and movement/mobility is great. The balance between the pilots and titans also work well. It just got too overhyped like it was suppose to be the next best thing.
AI controlled players is what really killed it for me as i mentioned earlier. I ran into more bots than actual human players and it just doesnt cut it for me. Of course the AI is just plain stupid. They really need to make this a real 12v12 game. I’m not sure why this game was designed to have bots. Ive heard arguments saying that its suppose to be this ‘MOBA’ style fps, like really? gtfo with that nonsense. Having bots does not add to anything than just more fodder to get your Titan faster.
I really hope there are lots of maps and variety in the full release.
There are 14 maps, according to leaks. More from future dlc guaranteed. Give or take probably 20 throughout the game’s lifespan, if it really does become as big as everyone thinks it will.
yeah, the bots actually counting towards shit bothers me. losing a game to something out of your control isn’t something that i feel good about.
they are worse than newborn babies. i can see them being cannon fodder and wiping them out is a matter of keeping them from causing random chaos, but having them count for something just seems inherently against competition. when a pod of 5 smashes into the ground in front of someone and they all pile out, watch the nearest enemy, and they all get smoked out of convenience… that’s 5 attrition points for killing something that might as well be classified as literally retarded.
imagine there was a military sniper with like 50 confirmed kills, medals or honor, awards up the ying yang, and 30 of those kills were shooting mentally handicap toddlers on ice cream day… that’s how i feel when i see top scores at the end of rounds…
I’ve only played 2 modes:
I believe Bots only count on Attrition mode, which is 1/20 ratio. Hardpoint doesn’t affect final score but allow you to get your Titan faster. They cost -1sec per bot kill, compared to pilots which i believe is -30sec.
I dont find bots annoying at all, actually its quite fun shooting them. I also like using them to reveal opponent pilots/humans positions or vice versa bating them to come to you. There seem to be something happening the whole time instead of running around trying to find someone too shoot like other FPS.
They can probably increase the pilot/titan kill points to avoid campers.
