Not a bad idea – however, getting the blending/shading of the orange to yellow right with the correct outline might prove infuriating… any other options? I’ve found some high res with the dragon behind it, but as I zoom in to cut it out, I usually notice it’s jaggy as hell and will end up looking so once I remove it.
and use the pen tool in ps. I recently started using the pen tool and although it takes longer than erasing it really gets the job done as clean as possible
EDIT: or another high res photo because i see that it has some transparent writing over the last few letters that can be a problem
Could someone tell me how I would go about printing stick art for my Hori Real Arcade Pro V3-SA, what material to print it on, and how to install that?
Wow, some absolutely amazing work displayed here guys…awe inspiring as a matter a fact. I’m trying to break into the art industry personally but this has me thinking of shifting my aim a little more into designing sticks. Chuu your templates are fantastic, initially I planned to have a fairly blacked out stick design, but your X23 layout has me thinking otherwise. Addicted to this thread now.
thanks, i’ve been pretty lately and i hurt my hand, maybe in a couple weeks i’ll working on templates again…i do have some aspirations to be in the art industry, but pretty much i’d be me opening a printshop or something of that nature…
It seems like you would be able to move rita under the left set of buttons to avoid her head things… from getting cut off. also, i would try making the “hitbox” go from top to bottom. it seems to be randomly placed in the middle. maybe try to match it up with the border or something. overall it looks great though and either choice would be good as-is.
