The NEW Official Arcade Stick Art Thread NO IMAGE QUOTING!

http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/index.cfm?loc=about&sub=templates the template for your stick is avaible there. I got the same stick and im working on it.

6 button vs 8 button is just a joke that goes around here. you play with what you prefer - its dumb to ruin the stick just because someone on here says that 6 is doge and 8 is dick

do you even need to label the buttons?

Yeh I based my design off of that template, someone had provided it for me in another thread.

I’ve never used a stick before, so no idea on my preferences etc yet, when I do the rough paper layout I’ll do one with and without button labels, and see if I think the extra colour works or not

Nice artwork here. How do you print it? Using a photo paper and a simple printer? Or you send it online to a specific website which will print it and send it back? Just curious…

There’s probably some kind of printing store nearby or close by. You will need a plexi if its your first time, and Art prints it for cheap, especially since its included in your shipping from tek-innovations.com

there’s a french vinyl site, i don’t remember the name, that offers print on vinyl. i think you still need a plexi though

Here’s one of the Dragon on Yakuza’s Kazuma Kiryu’s back. I could do more with the pattern in the background but couldn’t find anything more appropriate in a Google Search. Though I wish I knew how to do a curtain effect.

learcadeshop or neo-legend i think. I quite cheap. I’ve just lurk it. Thanks for your answer.

Just think about the merits of the stick and not how it looks. All of that CAN be changed, you know  :

Didn’t really know where I was going with this since I decided to try to make my own art instead of relying on D3v or Deathzerozx. I just drew some shapes, pasted a wallpaper, then messed with some effects. Feedback would be awesome since i really don’t have much photoshop experience.

It looks good. I really like it. You might want to make the shape around the buttons a little bigger because it looks like it is very close to the button holes on the template. The button will hang over the hole a bit so if you want the buttons to be fully enclosed you will need to adjust the size.

@PlayDoh003 the stick’s merits are good enough for me.

Use this for the background.

Building my first stick in a few weeks. It will be dedicated to my favorite superhero.

I really like that The Flash art.

MInimalist and sexy af. Good work.

Yeah I wanted it to be clean and simple.

Is your name Adrian Gibson or Eddie Dominguez? LoL.
Do all of the yellows on the art match? Just wondering. Might be my eyes playing tricks on me.

lol my Name is Adrian Gibson, my XBL name is Eddie Dominguez. I didn’t notice until you mentioned it but I think the lighting bolt on the left side of the face is a little darker. I’ll have to see if I can fix that. Thanks!

A friend asked me to make him a joystick after seeing all of mine, so I jumped back into the art game for a bit… he wanted a P4A stick:

That look really nice! I’m in the process of figuring out the art for my own TE and even though I haven’t played P4A the style just looks amazing all the time.

Also the wider form factor is always a plus on those specific sticks :]

That’s awesome.
