If those are separate Chun pics and background, then absolutely fantastic use of texture-ing/coloring to make the art blend in with the canvas… Pro.
What’s the font for the ‘chun-li’ if you don’t mind?
yeah, there are several different layers on this pic. . thanks. the font is “korean calligraphy”. you can find it on dafont.com
for the record I can’t stand the font on that chun pic above mine. i have no idea how that was supposed to look good. its extremely unbalanced. (justlikecapcomfighterslololol)
Yeah, it’s a reproduce of the actual SFIV font. I’ve used it on one art (the last one I posted I believe) and doesn’t look too bad in smaller form. I’m not a huge fan of it either and much prefer the other SFIV font (I used it for the button labels). The one he used though looks less bad if you “un-italicize” it (i.e. you’d have to warp with xform tool) and then reduce the height a bit.

How much recoloring did you have to do? Did you apply the recolor to the entire image via layer or did you have to match each layer individually? I’d also be interested in that texture/pattern overlay you used to get that “dirty paper” look.
Again, solid pro-level all around. Prolly my favorite I’ve seen from you. Cheers.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, no. This art was done by another artist that I commissioned.
Yeah, the text was actually part of the image. I moved it above the buttons and filled in the space where it was, but I never was a fan of the brush strokes there. I kept thinking something wasn’t right with it, maybe I’ll play with some different fonts.
Did you use a seahorse as a type???.. that is soooooo COOL!!
hey guys, I haven’t posted in a while, so here is a sketch i whipped up for my friend who loves Cammy, Taokaka, and cats

I want that Chun Li Template. Right nao.
Not Chun Li…hell, I’ll let jdm handle this.
Yup, the Tatsunoku logo.
Pretty sure it is unless I’m forgetting someone else who wears their hair in Ox Horns and wears a Modified qipao?

Nope, not Chun. Can’t remember who it is, but I know it’s not Chun. If jdm stops in he can tell who it is. People mistake her for Chun all the time.
move everything to the left slightly?
first let me get the immaturity out of the way… BEWBS!!!
ahem
the font looks fantastic dude they match the overall feel of the cherry blossom petals floating
