You aren’t supposed to print with the button holes on, thats the problem.
they are white when its printed out, i have to cut them out after.
You need to disable the button layer in PS before you print. On the layers you’ll see an ‘eye’ icon next to the buttons layer. Click that.
how will i find the place of the buttons then after i print?
Lay the art over the metal plate. Make sure its lined up exactly as you want, then cut the buttons out using the metal plate ad your cutting guide.
but the picture is big it self, not just the button holes, if i put it on my stick it would look horrible, and the top hole with xbox guide and turbo and all is big too.
I’m sorry if this is a stupid question, but is ‘scale to media’ option ticked? It’s the only thing o can think of if PS says its right size but print out is too big.
First: You don’t print the white areas.
Second: “Find the place of the buttons” isn’t important (see First)
Third: The picture is supposed to be bigger than the plate.
You CUT the stuff out MANUALLY. Print it out at the size it is now, ensuring it is WITHOUT the white areas. Then you cut everything out, using the plate as a guide. Why do you do this? So you don’t get borders that aren’t wanted.
If you can’t turn the white areas off (as in, you don’t have it as a PSD and just a jpg/png), then you’re kind of boned. You have to print and try and print and try until you have what you’re happy with.
where do i tick that? sorry im new to photoshops 
In your print options. When you choose to print, where you choose landscape/portrait etc, there’s an option called scale to print media. I’m at work at mo, so this is all off top of head.
the problem isnt in printing, the picture itself is too big on a computer, but when i try to resize it it says im on the right size for a TE stick.

If the pic is too big on the computer then you need to try redownloading the template or get a new template. If it is too big on paper then make sure you have page scaling set to none, make sure there are no other auto scaling options set to on.
thats weird what were u using to download it, firefox, internet explorer,etc…?

download the template again. Lock the template layers, transfer your shit over and be done with it. DO NOT scale or shrink when printing!

i tried downloading the template from different websites, opened it with 3 different programms and in all of the programms the tmplate is too big so weird.
I really need some advice. I purchased my full Plexi and art, but Ive never created a PDF file before. The art is at 300dpi (I believe that’s correct?) and flattened. But when I create the PDF, and try to email it I get told it’s too big to email.
Can someone please advise on the PDF settings I need in order to mail this? I’ve already paid for it…
