In short, kick other roommate out of house.*
exctly if he never paid shit… kick his ass out you shouldnt have to leave.
He owns the place. I’m a tenant.
So wait, if he owns the place, why does he still have to pay rent? Also, are you out on the street now or what? Do you have any ideas of where you can go? Maybe I can help move you when the time comes, but I don’t have any suggestions for where to put you.
I guess this means no games tonight? Gimme call.
Lot rent.
I’m staying with Josh Queen for a week or so, then probably getting an apartment at the same place he has one.
Edit: You called me right as I was posting this. Weird.
[Edit] I’ll bring Chris Rose.
I know.
Jason: Steve has one of the best rushdowns in BR. He’s always been a character that punishes VERY well, and grants high rewards for counter hits. A majority of his moves have crush properties as well. Not to mention he has a solid mixup game, which is why he can be played several different ways.
Everyone else in BR just sort of has pieces of what Steve has. lol.
Can Steve type with his boxing gloves on?
What happened to the mishimoos in this one to bring them down finally? Why Lili so strong (besides the fact that her name starts with L?)
I hate to tier whore. I was going to go with Alisa in this one, but since I already play Lili and she’s A tier, probably go with her. It’s not like I’m any good at Tekken, so I’ll just let her strength make up for my lack of skill.
Also, I know Rachel’s ranked like 2nd in BB, but I picked her based on character design alone before the game came out, and when I saw that her playstyle reminded me of Testament, it just backed up my decision to play her. I won’t know for sure until I play the game. I really like Bang and Kaka too, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be a Rachel player.

(Not sure about this yet but its between them)
I’m down for SF4 Ranbat <3
As for the SF4 list, I really have no problems against Blankas or Akumas, and I agree that El Fuerte should probably be higher.
Lastly, <3 Taokaka, shes me bitch :] I also like Litchi though, her and her damn possessed staff seem pretty ridiculous when it comes to comboing D:
@ Kam
Ahh…yeah that usually does it in any game…
I’ve been thinking hard on what char to pick up when I start Tekken again sometime soon. I really have loved Ling since Tekken 3…butI just can’t play her well enough with the current system. My fingers aren’t fast enough for stance dancing, and all her solid moves require great execution, something I really don’t have much of.
So…chars I’ve been thinking are Wang, Steve, King, and maybe Nina. You know the chars I’m attracted to, cause we’re kinda similar but in different ways. Having solid normals, great punishment and high risk, high reward are needed too.
So I’ll take any suggestion. No Mishima’s though if that’s what you might say…
BB talk:
Bah, two more people jumping on the Taokaka bandwagon…I was driving that thing when the community as a whole thought she sucked, but whatever. She looks too much like Millia for me to be good with her past some casual shenanigans. The more I watch Noel, the more I love how she works. I’ll pick both up, but more and more I’m sure Noel will be my main. Same thing happened in GG too…Thought I’d play Jam, started watching a ton of ABA, got the game, played Jam couldn’t get into her…picked ABA…
So we’ll see. I really want to try it out though.

Few things then, if we get this turnout.
- Kam asked me if we could start earlier…and if we get this many people that would be a very, very good thing to do. Earlier we start, the more go arounds everyone gets, so we can get some really good data.
anyway, he asked if we could start at 1 or 2…I’m probably cool with that, but our schedules rarely match junk like that. I’ll try to get there early enough, just so I can actually play something…but yeah.
-
If we get this many people, I’m not gonna bother playing cause everyone on this list owns a copy of the game, aside from Kam…but Kam gets the most out of casuals then anyone else I know so I doubt it even matters.
-
We’re obviously gonna need more then one station. Two would be solid, but three would be ideal.
-
First three people to post after me get to go first on whatever station. Remember, winner stays on so…
So I’m planning a get together this weekend guys. There will actually be a few places for people to sit. Woody and I finished putting my table together, and Otter put the bench together.
I’m not sure what time I’d want things to start, I’ll have to chit-chat to Otter. So let me know if you’d be interested. Just message me, plus let me know what you’d like for dinner.
Reply! Are we talking about the ranbat or a casual session?
Ranbats.
And I got you in, so good for you.
I know this is address to Kam but my 2 cents is you should give either Asuka or Lili a go. Both are pretty good characters in BR and there is a lot of videos of them on YouTube so you can get a good inkling of how they are played.
Also neither them require precision inputs or have many stances and have damaging combos. Both are also kinda similar to their DR incarnations so stuff you learn in DR can be used in BR as well.
In regards to the characters you mentioned, I play King and he is pretty similar to his DR incarnation as well. He is effective if you have a mixture of pokes and throw buffering but if you want to play high level with him you probably need to learn how to instant shining wizard (f,f,f+2+4) on the ground and air to maximize his combo damage.
Hope that helps.

Sadly no. It’s because Steve is from the UK. lol. Balrog wants his fight money, so he’ll do whatever it takes, even if it means learning computers.
- Although this is an early list (because they have “D” tiers, really?), the Mishima mixup game isn’t as bad to deal with. Certain properties are changed (such as Devil Jin’s hellsweep) so that your punishment for guessing a mixup wrong isn’t really all that bad, like in DR. However, Devil Jin’s Hellsweep on CH is a different story cause you still get combo’d. Heihachi has no more twin pistons, so you are practically only left to guess between EWGF or Hellsweep…which can be solved by just ducking and not worrying about a thing. Kazuya still has his mixup mind games, but the fact that you don’t get sucked into a combo for guessing mids/lows wrong is not that bad. The best reward Kazuya gets is a knockdown and the rest is up to skill. Regular Jin is practically the best of the Mishima bunch because his mid mixup is a knockdown, but his low sweep mixup leads to a combo…a good one at that. The Mishima characters are just zoning characters now really.
catches breath
- Lili has legs. Long ones. She covers ground pretty damn well. Her combo damage is pretty rewarding of course and she applies pretty good wall pressure with back turn mixups.
But always play what character YOU want, not by the Tier list. I mean, in some way, I don’t blame you because if it is that simple to pick Lili, combo me to the wall, turn your back and dial a mixup, I would do that too. In return, my reward would be to learn how to simply beat Lili. I’m the same way with Akuma in SFIV (even though I did want to play Akuma after Rufus)
Jason: I asked about that stuff because I work at WSU at 6pm on Friday (and Sat. if it matters). I just wanted to mention an early time to compensate for people that will still show up late. I’m sure the Ranbat will run it’s course within just a few hours. However, I get off at 10, if you guys want to set up somewhere after the place closes at 11pm, can we plan that in advance? I think I’ll have money this weekend to chip in a little gas if we change locations.
Phil: Your iSW is not wanted here. Don’t go plugging in that move here in Dayton! lol.
Kam: Don’t hate, appreciate heh.
pP
We wouldn’t be “hatin Dayton” if we didn’t hate on you Phil
