Well, I’ll be there and Mac will be there. I can’t tell from Jordyn’s post whether he is hanging out with his friend and won’t be able to go, or is hanging out with his friend and will have a ride because of that.

First, sadly I won’t be able to make it…but after next week I’ll be more free.
Second…Don’t go see Origins. Yeah it’s better then X-3…but that’s like saying the Bengals are better then the Lions…
I go to these movies out of loyalty to the American comic industry, but enough is enough. Until Marvel gets the liscences back to the X-Men, Spiderman and Fantastic Four franchises…no more…

Lee, nothing really happened worth mentioning. Me and Mac played Guilty Gear. I got better vs Slayer, but still lost probably 80% of the time. That vampire hits hard. I also showed him some Viper tricks in 4 and he practiced canceling thunder fist for a while. Callmevoltron was there, but I didn’t get to play him because there was only one 360 stick and one ps3 stick. Tuna was there a little bit too, but I turned around at one point and he’d vanished. He had a 360 stick, but he was gone before I started playing 4.
Next time hopefully our drivers won’t be sick or busy and we’ll be able to get something going. Also, Mario’s in town Tuesday I guess so I’m gonna get some hnk and maybe 3rd strike in with him.
Everybody should play hnk.

That movie was entertaining…in a bad way. The shit seemed like a comedy more than anything. I believe they made that movie like that on purpose. I’m just waitin for someone to claw up the screen.

The first 25 minutes needed more of him fighting WW2 with Captain America. And more of him in Japan fighting in the Shogun wars where he basically learned all his techniques anyway.
And less of him fighting side by side with Sabertooth…cause they’ve always hated each other. And less of him fighting in Vietnam. And more of him working with the Canadian government, to fight the Hulk.
But aside from that, it was well put together even though it was all made up, barring the opening scene of him being a sickly little boy and him killing his father with his awakened mutant powers. Course…you lose all significance of that whole scene since…you don’t know who anybody is but…

To tag on with Jason, good promotion doesn’t promise it to be a good film though. However, I agree with Jason because of his optimism. You have to be willing to suspend a few conventions and understand why certain standards are met to even enjoy the film. It is very challenging for producers to faithfully enact a comic/game storyline on film (this has been proven before) because you have to filter it through film conventions; more importantly, Hollywood film conventions (grumblegrumblegrumble)
Unfortunately I haven’t seen a solid comic film except The Dark Knight. Although, I only give some praise to Dark Knight because of its political subtext.
