pretty mad about the results of my playing tonight in the sf4 tournament but it was my own fault really, i should have just taken the DQ win from the other guy and moved on up in the bracket.
anyway, i’ll keep an eye out on the thread.

This response is late, but Paul was there too. He was late tho, so he got automatically put in losers. Even if I could get someone to help me set up the emulator, I doubt my laptop is powerful enough to handle it. Still worth a try though.

You should be happy. Congrats on 3rd in 3rd. Young’s shoulder tackle combos hurt. He used to be good at GG, but then he quit.
Zach, I am Matt. Stay alert and hang with us some more, and learn something better than SF4 so you don’t have to worry about lameness. Preferably play something on PS2 so you don’t have to worry about whether something was a pause or a wireless disconnect malfunction thing. BlazBlue and KoF12 will be hot though.
Tiggy. I was there yesterday, but I don’t really remember what you look like, and since nobody was playing Arcana, I couldn’t find you. Did get to see Paul. It sucked that we had to put him and Matt in losers, but that was really the only thing we could do.
Kam, way to pop them bubbles in SC. Get better. I should get that game and play it a little. I’m sure I could at least improve a little bit with minimal effort.

Josh, nice tournament. How late did 4 run? What was the overall turnout? If these questions are answered on the tournament thread, I’ll be headed there shortly. I hope you were happy with GG. I took it upon myself to make sure people showed up for it.

GG’s All. Props of course to Adam for taking third in 3rd. I know everyone in the crew got at least one win in the tournaments, and some did even better. Slowly but surely we progress.
I know I have a lot of work to do still in GG, and I’m planning on doing it. Anyone who wants to take BB seriously will have to understand some of whats going on in GG to get it…soo…people should start playing GG again. Of course this is all forum talk, and people will say and get hype and not follow up…

Dunno if you guys saw, but there’s an SFIV tourney in C-bus on May 23, cash payout. I’m gonna see if I can get some people/equipment down there and try to get some other games run. Josie says the venue is nice.

I might go up to that, I’ll be out of school. Has there been a thread posted for it? I’m trying to set up 2df and GGPO for Josiah. Otherwise he’ll just have to come over to my place and play on my PC. Not sure if a MAC laptop will have any trouble running the clients though.
Yeah there’s a thread – it’s pretty small though and just called May 23 Columbus tourney or something. I hope Dayton can make it, seems like this could be a nice event and a good time.
I’ll probably go, we’ll be sure to bring 3s along and show them what a good SF game looks like :lol:
