Ricado I fucking lied dude. I put in the DVD last night and there was ENGLISH SUBS.
The default audio is in Thai with no subs, but you can change it in the MENU. (How the fuck is Vietnamese not the default language when it’s a Vietnamese movie?)

Not to question the tier list but you gotta figure Ouyang Feng (“The poison frog” or “Western Venom”) is at least better than Guo Jing and Ouyang’s foster son, Yang Guo until Yang Guo gets his arm chopped arm and gains the eagle. IMO he’s the best of the 5 Legendary greats. This nigga beat Guo Jing, kidnapped him and forced him to tell him the secret to Nine Suns Kungfu (AKA the Nine Yin Manual). Guo Jing told him the manual backwards and mixed it up… But Ouyang Feng made it work ANYDAMWAY because he was such a kungfu genius (Guo Jing would admit to such later in the manga and i think in Legend of Condor Heroes too). Ouyang Feng then kidnapped Guo Jing’s wife and made her translate the manual but she told it to him all wrong… and he made THAT work too.
Only dude on Poison Feng’s level of the Great 5 was the old leader of the Beggar Clan and the only reason it was a draw with them was because Feng didn’t use poison. And even then, Poison Feng still conquered The Begger Clan’s ultimate stick technique.

yeah, even though he became insane, west venom became the strongest at end of LOCH. he was going to beat north beggar until huang rong stepped in and fucked with his head. and the final test between guo jing and east heretic and north begger was basically a draw, there was no clear winner.

After LOCH Guo Jing pretty much went into god mode and held down the fort for China. He pretty much stop the Mongols from invading China all by himself. He also had the respect of Genghis mother fucking Khan. Genghis Khan don’t show anyone mercy, but this was the one nigga he said fuck it. I’m not risking my kids dieing to him. I will just invade all of China and leave this one city alone until he dies then we take it over.
What happen years later? On the fucking day he dies Mongolia takes complete control of China.
Don’t forget if it wasn’t for him and Yang Guo we wouldn’t even have HSDS. The two swords basically set up the story for HSDS.
Also Ouyang Feng was not the best or even close in the original 5 greats. First the Central Divinity (Wang Chongyang) won the battle at Mount Hua over the 4 others to obtain the 9 yin.
Second the weakness in his poison was the yin yang finger. That’s why the Central Divinity (Wang Chongyang) went to the Southern Monk (he was still the emperor at the time) at traded martial arts. He knew that if you combine his shit with ying yang finger that the Western Venom was fucked, and right before he died he made sure Western venom couldn’t do shit for a few years.
I’ll give him the fact that he didn’t give a fuck about anyone made him a bad ass, but dude was never achieve the status of #1 in his era.

If you combined movies, tv shows, games, and anime there probably over 150 adaptions of his novels.
Evey one interpret them a little different.
For example a movie you might be familiar is with is The Legend of the Swordsman (Jet Li).
Jet Li plays a character from one of the novels, of course they don’t follow exactly what happens in the novels becuase that would take hundreds of hour, but you see where I am getting at.
Basically it’s like the Marvel universe of Asia. We have our spidermans, batmans, x-mens, and we also have our green goblins, joker etc… There thousands of characters, shitload of clans and sects and you get the point.
