iā€™ve been waiting years for this shit, this solely makes me want to buy a ps3. KH is on of my favorite games of all times, i wear a heartless sweatshirt every day .

Backpedaling to KH1, the gameplay didnā€™t age well, but I like that the Disney villains felt like part of the story instead of outsourcing to anime. Dey took Gastonā€™s jerb.

Yeah, and I can only imagine how annoying a Level 1 Run on KH1 Final Mix will be considering how Abilities in relation to Leveling was done.

I canā€™t wait to finally get to partake in that boss fight.

Yeah I canā€™t explain it but the Disney worlds and characters felt like they were part of the bigger story in KH1 while in KH2 it was like you just played through the respective movie with elements of KH thrown in. Boring.

Are level 1 runs possible in KH1FM?

Yes. Just really really really hard.

Yea thereā€™s an equipable skill called 0-exp. Stops you from gaining any exp as long as itā€™s active.

From what I hear, that was a calldown from Disney or something.

I donā€™t remember the exact details, but Iā€™m pretty sure that decision came from higher ups rather than being an active storytelling and design decision.

It will be in KH 1.5. However, this game lends itself to such a move a lot less than future titles.

Time to pre-order. Level 1 runs in KH2FM+ were pretty rad.

Yeah, but again, Iā€™ll reiterate. KH1 does not lend itself well to such a run. Unless they retooled how abilities are obtained in KH1, youā€™re going to have a hell of a time.

But shitā€¦Level 1 Expert Sephirothā€¦he might actually be a challenge again.

This EX meter, Im guessing it will function as the drive meter also. Each KH gets easier when you get the ā€œ____ Rageā€ ability. Whether its MP, Damage Drive, Drive Boost or what have you.

Did anyone ever use Auto drives? Those imo were just a waste of AP.

Definitely the Drive Meter again. Though remember, this is as Pre-Alpha as it gets, so much crap could change by the final product. Also note, the Command Deck isnā€™t around. And that thing has driven the last three KH games.

As for Auto Drives, always had Auto-Valor/Wisdom in the hole. Why? Free Heal if my MP is still charging up. Canā€™t be interruped mid Drive Switch and you get full Health and MP back. It definitely didnā€™t hurt to have in some key boss battles.

Nah never resorted to auto. My right analog selection was on point. I got those.

Itā€™s not like the ONE AP was going anywhere else so it was a ā€œWhy the hell not?ā€

Besides, I rarely had to myself since 99% of the game even on Proud was pathetically easy.

I remember the set up i used back in the day used all my AP, so I didnā€™t have any to use in that ā€œMight as wellā€ sort of way, so no never used Auto Drives.

I do remember running one of those hilarious ā€œNo Comboā€ set ups for a little while so you got the combo finisher after one hit. Shit so fraaaaay.

Anyway, letā€™s bring up a discussion on the gameplay.

In particular the Command Menu (KH1/2) vs the Command Deck (BBS, RE:Coded, DDD).

Which would you prefer? Or would you prefer a hybrid?
