No, Soraās gonna keep his KH2 duds most likely. Or at least a variation of them. I donāt see them ditching Drive Forms.

Fair enough. I really liked Ansemās character in KH1 (why oh why couldnāt they keep Billy Zane on board???) so that wasnāt an issue for me. But I think we can both agree that would be a matter of taste, as opposed to a lot of the other changes and twist that either retconned the story unnecessarily or were dreamed up to force other story decisions make sense, regardless of how preposterous the ideas are. I knew it was too much to ask, but I was hoping they would reboot the series at three. 
So to not sound like a broken recordā¦ anyone know if Utada will be involved? Last I heard she had some grievance about Disney/Square not paying her or something?
Itās not that I donāt like Ansem (and Billy Zane was apparently busy doing other things if I remember correctly), heās a fine character. But he kind of felt shoehorned in. Other than the beginning of the game in the Secret Place and the Reports, he didnāt have a presence really until he just randomly came around in Hollow Bastion.
It made me end up caring less about the Final Boss of the game than I did taking down Maleficent.
As for Utada, sheās just outright retired right now.
Found the plot synopsis:
Sora and friends have to fight a new group of (insert a cool number like 7, 10, or 13) anime archetypes in between speeches about hearts and light and friendship, ending with a final showdown with a handsome, white-haired guy who spends the last hour of the game droning on about hearts and darkness and the evil version of friendship. You fight him in a mostly white or black arena with sad piano music playing. The secret boss will be Mustache Xehanort from an alternate mustache dimension, and beating him will unlock a secret ending which is mostly white text on a black background.
Also, there are Disney characters. They arenāt important, though, because they only wear like 2 belts, tops.

I never understood the appeal of Kingdom Hearts. I do understand the appeal of being able to play as Donald Duck in a game, but not this one. What makes these games worth getting into?

The Mustache Dimension was pretty good, good enough that itās all the joke needed.
The exposition in the beginning kind of killed it.
Ironically, the joke had the same problem that KH tends to have. Brilliant Idea, Execution couldāve used work.
It was already mentioned that disney owns the rights to marvel now, but also note that since the kingdom hearts 2 disney has acquired the rights to pixar and starwars.

Darth Vader as a hidden boss in KH3 would be pretty awesome.
